    This is a stretch. Because I am over careful, when I come home, I do not place my jacket in the closet anymore. Now I keep the clothes I wear outside in a separate place.
    I heard the virus lives on the ground too.

      Celia, there's nothing wrong in keeping your jacket away from your other clothes, at least temporarily. The thinking at the moment is that the virus does survive for about 6 - 10 hours on surfaces. So if your jacket gets contaminated whilst you are out and about, you should be fine after about 10 hours. If you stretch it, maybe 12 hours

      So I thought I'd get back to you, Mr X based on a conversation I had with a colleague last night. Apparently with the shortage of the N95 masks, folks are now being asked to reuse the masks as you said. It's not ideal because they're designed as single use masks but we are living in extenuating circumstances with this pandemic.
      So, yes, you can use the hydrogen peroxide solution to sterilize your N95 masks. You will need to get a spray bottle though. Spray it on the outside and inside of the mask and hang it overnight in a clean place and you can use the mask the following morning. Desperate times, desperate measures...

    When using either vinegar, alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, does it need to be mixed at a certain ratio with water, if so what is the ratio? Thank you for informative video!

    • @drjoetvMD
      @drjoetvMD  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The problem with mixing is you run into difficulties with dilution, Heidi. Either you buy already constituted alcohol percentage-wise for instance, or mix it in the proportion that I talked about in the video. It should be 60 - 80% alcohol concentration. Meaning you have to use pure isopropyl alcohol and you mix it with water (de-ionized water preferably) in a ratio of 60:40 or 70:30 or 80:20.

    Hello again Doctor Joe,
    I would like to know if people trying to visit ill people are restricted from entering the hospitals?
    Do your hospitals have vacant rooms?
    I spent 36 hours in the ER at Barnes a year ago waiting to get a room from complications after the surgery. Now I am hearing that some hospitals are nearly vacant.

    • @drjoetvMD
      @drjoetvMD  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Obviously covid-19 has changed everything for now. All routine elective surgical procedures have been suspended until we have reached the peak of this epidemic. Nearly all hospital spaces are being held in reserve for a possible corona surge of patients. The only cases being admitted now for most hospitals are cancer cases and of course other emergencies. That's the clinical landscape for most hospitals as we speak. Covid-19 has put a lot of things on hold

    • @drjoetvMD
      @drjoetvMD  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So on account of that, there will be vacant hospital spaces just waiting for possible covid-19 anticipated patient's use

      @@drjoetvMD That's what I thought, the cure is worse than the disease. People are becoming increasingly sicker, because something might happen in the future. That is the goal of elites who believe there are to many people in the world. And although they are correct with our current level of consumerism, I am not ready to volunteer to help them achieve their goal.
      The Georgia Guidestones and Agenda 21 detail the Elites plans and goals to reduce the world population to 500 million and that was before robots and 3D printers.

    • @BusterABrown
      @BusterABrown 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just to clarify the visit to the ER was a month after spending a week in the hospital. And the first 20 hours were spent stopping me from bleeding to death from a 10 inch scar that my family doctor mistakenly removed the clue.
      Interesting fact: We were stopped by police at the front door of the ER to ask if we had any guns or knives. Having entered an ER thousands of times that is the first time that has happened. It really highlighted the crazy times we live in nowadays.
