I am a proud owner of xm4 and I love it. It is very comfortable for me but then it does heat up my ears easily especially when I live in hotter and more humid country. Audio quality is also good but then it is still a bit muddy for me and I prefer the sound of bose's.
Why do you people like bass so much? The qc45s have lots of bass, there is more to music than just bass, bass is just the bass guitar and maybe bass drum. Almost EVERY other instrument and vocal in in the mids maybe the highs. If your playing video games or watch movies then more bass is great but the qc45s already have a lot of bass. If you really want BASS then go get some Roy joys.
@@Error-xl3ty I think a lot of young people like to feel the music ant their tastes are limited. Like you said bass is just one component. I have both of these and like both

I fully agree. The sound quality is way better than I thought it would be. TH-camrs act like they sound bad when they don't. They sound better than the 1000xm4 and 5. The 1000xm4 and 5 sound muddy to me and they have too much cabin pressure. The mids are also more refined on the Bose and they give me chills when listening to music. I love the instrument separation on the Bose too. They don't need Ldac or aptx when they sound so damn good.
Somehow Bose always give me headache in a few minutes despite of how light and soft they are. Sony ain’t as comfortable but I can tolerate them much longer.
@@GYMCADDY It was the opposite for me. The Sony 1000xm4 and 5 both have more cabin pressure and that's why I returned them. The Bose Qc45 has just as good of ANC as the 1000xm5 while having very little cabin pressure.
The problem with those xm4s is the creaky hinges. The noise in my left ear when I moved my head around just wouldn't settle down. Pure silence from the Bose Qc35s and I'd expect the same from the 45s

The xm5 had a little more power is seemed but the Bose were good enough (especially for free) and I much prefer the real buttons to the touch sensitive actions of the Sonys . Returned the XM5’s
To be honest, I have the NC700’s right now and i am trying to sell them as the clamping force is just far too much for me. So, I am looking for either the QC45 or XM4 for my next pair and though comfort is my first concern, the sonys themselves, though not as comfortable as the qc45, still pretty comfortable for what they are especially considering they are feature rich. I have multiple Bose products, just wish they’d ensure the same quality and feature set as the ‘more expensive’ products aka the 700’s as in Canada there is a $50 difference between the 700 and QC45.
