You mention about high taxes in the UK, what are you planning to do with the new tax laws Thailand is looking to implement January 2024. It will affect TH-camrs as the money is made overseas and soon all foreign money made overseas Thailand will tax when it enters the country.
The channel belongs to my wife and dealt with through her personal income tax. Additionally, living here so long, i doubt this will happen anyway, if it does it will be poorly rolled out and poorly policed.
The best gift you can give your children is a home with stability, deep roots and a sense of belonging. I never had that growing up but did try to give it to my children best I could. Another thing, sorry Ryan you are great at this TH-cam thing but Damo is the star of the show! ❤
Living in Rural Thailand is the best place to be. I'm in Chonburi but only a small village. I love it. I'm like yourself, the only farang cutting about. I've been here many years so am treated just like the Thais. My wife educated me about the rules of village life so fit in pretty well. Regarding the kids, I have two nephews who live with us as their mums work in Bang Saen and Hua Hin. Great kids and I am happy to have them here. My daughter is at university so its nice to have some kids in the house. Pretty standard in Thai life. Family is everything.
While I do not comment often, I always enjoy watching your vlogs and never miss any. I am looking forward to following the renovations on both your channels. Stay well and happy ❤
Fantastic episode Ryan...I live in khon kaen in a small village.., your wife is a very rare gem my wife is also .... sometimes MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

After living in Thailand for a few years I am finally learning Thai with my wife as she is teaching our 3 year old. I listened to it for so long I am lucky enough to really have a lock on the accent and tones according to my wife😂

Your videos are refreshing and show the real rural and simple Thai life. I've seen other youtube channels about Thailand "everyday life", etc. and they all show the same: eating all the time, walking alleyways, lots of noise, staying at hotels (where their girlfriends negotiate the prices of course), etc. it is almost all the same. They show long and driving through Thailand and barely show the "good" stuff in Thailand. So those videos where Farang men exploit the relationship with their Thai girlfriends. I enjoy your videos, simple and honest life in Thailand.
I want to be able to cook Cajun and Creole food and American BBQ when I finally move to Thailand full time!! The wife and I Love food from the southern US.

We have adopted a similar communication style with me speaking English with my wife while she speaks to me in Thai. Nice video. From a Thai Girl and British Guy living in Phuket. I relate to your comfortable relationship. We are married 27 years now. My wife can take off home village anytime. I've done the world and happy not to travel now. My wife was supposed to be up in your area last weekend for her Prakhon Chai High School annual reunion. But she dithered too long that no tickets to Buriram left so not go. I don't miss the UK weather. UK food I can buy in Villa Market and make at home, but I do miss a local chip shop. Surprisingly the few chippy start ups over 25 years all failed quickly for lack of customers. Luck to you both and the kids. Were were not blessed with making our own kids. Just never happened. Oh well ....
7/11, motorcycle taxi etc thais generally correct pronunciation in the moment instinctively once they know what you're on about. It's so funny trying to get it right from the latest volunteer teacher.
