If i was planning to primarily drag the car and not care as much about handling id skip the performance pack too...brakes are heavier wheels are heavier (plus it is easier to run a 17x7 front funner with standard brakes) and the handling upgrades weigh a little more too and are unnecessary in a built focused primarily on the drag strip. I think im gonna go with a base 3.15 a10 car...i have owned 12 vehicle in my 20 years of driving...10 were fords 7 were stangs and i also had an svt focus and now a fiesta st both of which were 6 speed manual and all my stangs have been manual im a true driving enthusiast but im seriously considering the 10 speed auto due to what i want the car for. I want a stang to cruise on nice days and make passes on the drag strip and get as fast as possible as easy and cheap as possible the 10 speed really makes sense for me. I will keep my 6 speed manual fiesta st for daily driving dutys year round and fun on twisty backroads. I like the idea of a potential 10 second na stang with no more than a few grand worth of parts total.
Don't forget power to weight ratio can't take too much off the rear. mustangs are already too light in the rear that's why they are famous lol. If you take weight from the back you gotta get beefier wider tires cuz you will brake loose. I got a stock 2004 gt auto and I can chirp the wheels in third gear with bolt ons and a sct Bama tune. Got a Mac h pipe and pypes violator mufflers. Underdrive pulleys from steeda 79mm throttle body BBK throttle with cold air intake. car is a beast!

KEEP ON ROCKING! I have a 2013 Mustang GT with the Track Pack. All I have is a Steeda CAI and Tune. The rest is suspension and Barton Short Throw Shifter. I live in the Communist State of California and there has been some recent law changes that make it very difficult to modify your ride. If you don't pass smog the penalties are expansive. Either way your site is awesome!

Quick time for an NA car and not a lot of big ticket mods. Wheel hop on these things is terrible but since I have a ragtop not all the suspension mods available for the fastbacks is available for them. Then again, I knew when I bought a convertible I was going to be making some sacrifices but when that top comes down it makes it all worth while.
They each have their merits. There were supercharged cars in the 1930s so it’s not like forced induction is that new or special. It takes skill to make both types of engines fast. Some would say that forced induction is “easier” to make fast with less things needing to be modified, while a fast n/a motor requires much more small things to be done which all add up incrementally. I like both for different reasons.
I keep hearing about skipping the intake, most forums say it’s not worth it. I am tuned for E85 right now, that’s it. Im sure the intake along with catless headers and a fresh tune would make more sense?

I wish my 2016 60' like that! I'm stuck at 12.03 - can't seem to get the 60' lower than high 1.8s. What's your 60' in the 10s pass? Now I see you have a transbrake :) that makes a huge difference and this is starting to make sense! My 16 with similar mods (intake, e85 tune, headers, high flow exhaust, 2018 intake manifold, vertical links, rear toe links) puts down 435 to the wheels. Direct injection sure does make a difference - 510 is impressive.
I was at Royal Purple last fall in Houston and talk to multiple guys with hellcats running High nines and low tens and I specifically looked for roll bars and all I saw was laptops on the passenger seat😂 I know that's the rule but a lot of tracks don't push the issue
Question......have you considered running a spec E85-E100 fuel? Would you do a test to see if Ignite or one of the other brands would make a difference? If you stay NA, and now that you have the suspension, will a stall convertor be installed?

All you need is the tune, headers, and ET street Rs. Intake is doing next to nothing, and suspension is doing little to nothing. But you get free parts when you feature them in your videos.
I would American racing the long kit or bottle neck eliminator kit would be my pick for best you can get. The bottle neck elimination kit will work with almost any 3 inch aftermarket exhaust. They.re as nice as it gets if you ask me.

I live in Canada Alberta, and in Canada from what I can tell there aren't many E-85, is there an alternative to E-85 like using 93 octane to get similar results?
You could use race fuel if available you can also order mail order e85 thats usually better than what is at the pumps its gonna cost though by comparison but similar results
I noticed the hp difference from header to stock . Looks like headers gave you 50hp ? Seems high. I would expect maybe 25hp difference. Did your tuner do anything special to Gain that much power ? Also what do you think I should do stay with 3:15 gears our go to 3:55 gears our do you think the difference will be minimal. Lighter days makes the car a little smoother but drops barely 15 lbs. you need to drop a theoretical 100 lbs to gain the effect of 10 hp. Smaller tires and wheels will make the car accelerate quicker. It has been proven that the same car with 16” wheels accelerates over 1.3 sec quicker to 60 mph than that same car with 19” wheels. And almost 1,5 sec quicker and 3-5 mph faster in the 1/4. And, pushing the engines in the 2018+ V8 past 7700 rpm and do it often is a guarantee for oil pump fail. All the cars with oil pump gear issues have higher red lines. Lots of otherwise stock cars have come through dealers with just a tune that bumped up the redline.
When I was building my focus the top things I could see a quick difference in power was 1. CAI 2. Bigger throttle body 3. Lighter pulleys. 4. Wider tires 5.exhaust with down pipe 6. E-85 Those are the cheaper ways to get more power pretty quick.

Skipping the suspension and half shafts a low 11 second stang in stock tire with intake, e85 tune and headers is awesome.
the half shafts are only around 375 bucks which are all you need suspension wise, and that's ONLY for strength and reliability not for performance.

510 whp is more than the GT350 which is rated at 470 at the wheels if my mind serves correctly. So that translates to around 550 plus hp.

18/19 cars get better results with HP Tuners over SCT. Power and drivability. Rob@PBD will only tune with Ngauge.
Same tune from PBD will work cleaner with cars PCM over the SCT .. better and faster tuner.

When I was building my focus the top things I could see a quick difference in power was
1. CAI
2. Bigger throttle body
3. Lighter pulleys.
4. Wider tires
5.exhaust with down pipe
6. E-85
Those are the cheaper ways to get more power pretty quick.

I think you should now try to shed some more weight. Maybe a carbon fiber hood and just try to shed some of the excess weight.

When you first unveiled the purple, I'll admit I wasn't crazy about it because I'm a fan of black cars. But seeing the flashbacks with it black, it looked so boring. The purple looks great.
Did I miss the explanation of the trans-brake? Is that part of the tune or is that part of the factory launch control?
