Now, they compete and beat European and Japanese rivals. The lap speeds of the Dark Horse and the Z06 are simply amazing, especially for their weight.

Steeda is the truth. I recently raced Road Atlanta in a storm and a S550 GT with only an H-pipe and a CAI -- I dusted him on a straight but on curves he dusted me in the heavy rain and got out of there.
I've been modding Mustangs since 2011 starting with the S197 then later with the S550 and I've worked with both Steeda and BMR. Their products absolutely transform the car whether you are racing on the track, dragstrip, or just cruising backroads. One big thing to note is you do not need to spend $10k for the package described in this video, I have a feeling that cost comes from the in-house installation and registry. The actual parts are maybe $1500-2000, when not including dampers and wheels/tires and are relatively easy to install at home. What I really want to see with the S650 is some weight reduction mods; lightweight wheels/tires, fixed bucket seats(with removal of rear seats), CF hood, CF driveshaft, two-piece brake rotors, and whatever else the pros can come up with.
@@CoyoteAUS Agree on the battery, but be careful on the k-member as the lightweight versions were intended for drag racing and not track racing. If they have track versions then that would be great, especially the rear subframe which is rather beefy from the factory.
