    It’s amazing how these relatively simple mods can boost power output by so much. I’m surprised a cat-back exhaust system wasn’t included in Stage 2. Maybe in Stage 3.

      Rarely is the cat back going to be the greatest point of restriction. Maybe a 5hp gain if that.

    Please understand I am speaking out of ignorance. I happened to notice the long tube headers were installed as they were without any heat protection. Would it not help to contain the exhaust heat before it escapes out the back?

  • @everbeeren

    I did all of this except the thermostat on my 2022 GT and I am 10 HP below, so I am guessing around 477 WHP on mine, we had it on the Dyno, but it was 94% humidity that day and the Dyno is outside. It ran right at 476 WHP on the Dyno. Hubby drives the GT500, so I am getting my car to where I can keep up with him! 🤣Great video!

    I'd like to know what this looks like without the long tubes, maybe just a resonator delete for a more daily driver situation. Don't get me wrong I love the long tubes, but probably not going to do it. Interested in burning some e85 though.

    • @MustangJunky
      @MustangJunky 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Long tubes are definitely worth it if u want to squeeze out an extra 35-40 horsepower, my favorite part is about them is how they change the cars driving feeling, u get a lot more low end torque, the only issue is for the price you could also get other stuff that would arguably be better whether it’s cosmetic, interior, but as far as performance after a CAI and e85 and muffler delete it’s all you can really do while staying N/A excluding cams and fuel injectors

    If you plan on doing headers, even if they're catted, expect a "wrench light" and P0420/P0430 codes. The higher flow will cause these codes, and no, your tuner will NOT turn it off. Its illegal to do so. Putting spark plug non foulers on the rear O2 sensors may help. In theory, they move the O2 sensors out of the stream enough to fool them into thinking theres a normal amount of flow.

    Cold Air intakes don't do much for you. 5HP tops. The HP boost you get from "tune required" intakes is mostly from the tune. A simple 93 octane tune can get you as much as 20HP. Its all marketing fluff, that I fell for too many times. Open air element CAIs just get heat soak unless you're on a track, at the strip, massive heat soak. Save your money for a better intake manifold, OPG's, cams, etc, or boost. Dynos can vary as much as 5+ HP per run, and if the car isn't at operating temp for ALL runs, the numbers are bogus. Cold oil causes parasitic loss.
