    • @harrystubbs713
      @harrystubbs713 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It needs to be mass produced? Why? You think this would do well on the market when people can play N64 games on the go with emulators. I mean I know your comment was from 3 years ago but with the Switch being a think now you can play Zelda Botw on the go. Carrying around a handheld with a cartridge as big as the device around it hardly practical.

      @@harrystubbs713 6 years ago as from today, I don’t really think that you could use emulators on the go like this portable machine he has made. Or atleast I couldn’t.

    • @harrystubbs713
      @harrystubbs713 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SirSiegward In 2015? Sure you could. My friend had a phone thst had the entire SNES library on it on like 2012/2013. My Dad had a PSP with N64 and Playstation games built into it long before that.
      I guess it was harder to do back then than it is now but it was still possible.
      But besides that, Mario 64 was remade on the DS and Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Star Fox were all remade on the 3DS in like 2011. Sure they are not exactly the same games and some people hare the DS port of Mario 64 but you could carry over 20 DS/3DS cartridges in the space it takes to carry 1 N64 Cartridge.
      But I love Mario 64, but if it was the choice between not playing it on a bus or carrying this thing around eih me, then I choose the first one.

    • @theHuGoroN

      I think it's in the 1000$ range because the custom work. (To be exact I've never built myself N64 portables but did custom my PSOne to work from the car cigarette lighter and to have a screen) Its 1-2weeks of work and the parts. So if we say a a monthly salary of 2-3k$ and its roughly one third of a month so 800$ for the time and 200$ for the parts that include the console finishes and other out sourced parts you need. That sound reasonable.
