Can’t go wrong with either one. I have the 592 and I agree about the pull start! It’s takes a man to pull one of these over! Every Stihl I have owned the caps leak on so I’ve had enough and moved on to Husky.
@@765Guys never thought about it before just now noticed the angle of the pull starter coming out of the 592 case, I find the saw harder to pull over so have been starting with rear handle in right hand bar tip on ground and pull with left hand is the starter handle being clocked at the 2 o'clock position part of the harder pulling.🤔
Which one is holding up better long term? When both are obviously high performers, i think the important question is which vibrates your hands worse and which one holds together better.
My 066 seems like it has slow chain speed, I run skip tooth chains on it with the 36" bar and that helps. I know this my comes as a shock to you both, but I think I'd lean more towards the 592xp if I didn't already have the 066. The 592 has the 90cc (plus) grunt, but the chain speed seems to me like it's closer to my 462, where the 066 seems slow comparatively. At least you fellas now know, I can say nice things about them huskys.
That hickory must be 31-32 inch. I like your comparisons on all your saws you have tested. I decided to try a 25 inch bar. I liked it a lot. One safety tip is , if you are used to cutting with 18 or 20 inch bar. Watch yourself with the bigger bars, I am short @ 5’6”. I have a tendency to bring the saw to my left side. With the length of the bar @25 inch that tip can get you right in your lower calf muscle. I can’t imagine how it is to handle a 36 inch. I might put a video out about this. I’m mentioning this because it happened to me. I was very lucky I had my chaps on , I was not injured. The chain is at idle but can still bit you. It just snagged the cloth and tore a bit. It never even passed in my mind that that can happen. I mention this only as an awareness. Merry Christmas Genin.
Overall string to jonsered 2195 with a 36” bar plus work under hood and twin turbo can’t to touch in a logger hand 🖐. Plus the way the chain is file make a big difference to . 462 is daily driver..best saw once modified iys lighter and will run same bars.ported it's animal. Although my stock bolt on modified broken In after couple years runs like ported

I am a Husqvarna guy but my Stihl 462 is such a good big saw and my Ported 550XP is my fast small saw. I agree about the caps and filters on the saws.
You’ve got good taste in saws!
I put some West Coast dogs on the 550 after watching your video thanks@@765Guys
462c is definitely a great saw
Thanks for the comparison. I have a line on a new 592XP for about $1150. I have a 500i, 362, & 261.
I have both saws and the 592 is my favorite. It’s insane and a joy to run!!
Just ordered a 592xp cant wait to pick it up!
Hangi motorlu testere daha hızlı kesim yapıyor
I run a 592XP with a 24" 76DL .404 .063 gauge chain (Oregon 68LX076)...it's a freaking BEAST!!!

That’s right! Thanks for watching!
Yes, and the caps have been leaking for how many years ? Come on STIHL get your shit together!!!

Love both brands! Own a Husqvarna 550xp mark 2 saw - but stihl string trimmer and battery blower
Both badass saws!👍💪👍
That they are!
Can’t beat that 592! Love mine!
Yep!
Love my 592xp and have had a few 661s

This is exactly why we have an artificial Christmas tree. I don’t own either saw🤷♂️ I would buy the Husky if I were to get a real tree though! 👍🏻👍🏻
I use a 32 bar on my 661c!! Biggest bar I've got. On my 400c and 500i I use 25 inch bars. Merry Christmas Y'all!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
I've got a 660 and a 395xp.(among many others) Both are great but I too prefer the husky.
Those are some good ones!
I have a 592 and 462, apparently the favorites.

Maybe it's just the audio, but they both sound a little lean.
@@TrigonometryforStudentsa-vt1bg it’s the audio
Would have been another good test to have had each saw "noodle" down through that log with bar totally buried up to the dogs.
Good show boys.
Thanks Kenny!
👍
Husky all day. Ripsaw makes a really sick 592 but go they up the price a ton.

My Stihl has been finicky but my Husky has just ran no matter what. I would take either one but I am more a Husky Boi......
Baguss
I have a 592 and a 395 the 395 has more power than the 592
Good to know, I’ll have to try one someday!
@@765Guys I run a 44 inch bar and 404 chain on the 395 I run a 36 inch bar on the 592 I wish I could send pictures
No one cares! Lol
Fuel consumption, weight, power and durability... Ull found it from huqky... Dont care bout small diferent cc..
Stihl second to none 😊that's old rotten wood 😂😂😂
Of corse the 592 is faster ,it's 10 cc bigger, my chainsaw is the one that works and cuts
2cc bigger. Not 10cc.
@@765Guys opps used my public school math lol
