    Love your energy and personality. I have the first 592 sold in GA. One thing. My Husqvarna high up friends suggest that you let it idle for 5 minutes and then run it continually for 2 straight minutes. So for a 592, that means you have to find a pretty thick diameter tree that’s laying down. So what I did is I had about a 32 inch oak tree that was downed and my very first cut was a punch cut in the tree sideways as it was laying down and I ran it through the lake to the tree two minutes without stopping with a saw wide-open. It tuned the saw beautifully. Also stay away from the spikes at first, they will just bug down your chain. Keep the videos coming

    I own this saw.
    I originally intended to use it for big trees only but...
    It really is that good (HUGE understatement).
    Our other big saw is the 395 and we "fight" over excuses to run the 592.
    Again, CRAZY beast of a saw out of the box and one of the few I've ever owned that feels as though it doesn't need hotted up.

    I’ve been running this saw for almost one year exactly might be my favorite saw. I scaled down from a 3120 but this feels much more responsive.

    Keep an eye on the plug in that saw, white, saw is running lean. Walt and Spike60 have a video were they do the autotune reset. That saw needs to be reset properly (both low and high). Check back with your dealer, there are firmware updates for it that will benefit your 592 with more coming I'm sure. Grease the clutch bearing and enjoy.

    I have been one of the lucky ones to have purchased the 592xp it has been well used in past 2 months and really pleased with the power of this saw. BUT!
    You mentioned at the start of the video about air filter having a good seal on base this is not the case saw dust getting through not like my 395xp best filter set up I have seen nothing gets through .
    I’m not the only one that has experienced this problem everyone I have spoken to that owns 592 had same problem yeah sure little smear of Grease around the base of filter will solve the problem but really shouldn’t have to do that.
    Husqvarna needs to sort this problem out saw dust isn’t good for crank case bearings.
    I liked your review would love to see 592 ported .

      Ever read husqvarna repair manuals. Some of them call for 90 weight ep gear oil for bar oil. Out side USA. I use bar oil because its the cheapest oil i can buy. If not i would go back to 30 weight motor oil like was used up until EPA got involved. If using a synthetic bar oil better read husqvarna warning about empty oil tank and washing it out before storage. It will rot in your tank. If using non synthetic bar oil just put it up and forget it. Washing the tank only applies to synthetic oil but husq don't make that clear in there insurrections. Also you can read EPA label and see how many hours that engine can run before compression drops below level that saw will start. Most xp saws have 300hr engines. Home owner saws go from less than 1 hundred to around 100. This also holds true on any small engine sold in USA. Husqvarna fuel mix is 50 to 1 in USA and Canada. Out side USA it is 33 to 1. Same saws built exact same. I never run below 40 to1.

      The guy who owns the shop I bought the 592xp from told me. He watches the channel and saw the cans and so he told me his story. According to him, a guy he knows sells the stuff, so of course that's what he uses...well, all of his equipment failed on him, (the type of failure was not mentioned to me) well, now the guy who sells the stuff won't use it, says it's the worst fuel on the market. That's it. Now you know what I know. I've used exactly two cans of it. Worked fine for me. I now use those cans because they are handy to keep around and re-use. I stopped buying it only because the VP fuel was nearly the same price. And VP is simply cooler. The Binford Bad Boy is running excellent now. This summer cutting popular with 2 guys running saws, We will use at least 3 gallon a day. And when cutting the oak and hickory we will use even more. If it leans, it could give more room for a longer connecting rod. A longer connecting rod can give more torque in exactly the same way that a longer wrench gives more torque yet the stroke still covers exactly the same distance. The stroke is dictated by the crankshaft, but with a longe rod, your piston has more leverage on it and can produce more torque.

But when I walked in there and picked it up...the fantasy immediately became a necessity. I couldn't help but imagine how much nicer it would be to use a 592 vs using my 3120 for the big rare jobs. And then...I could probably sell my 3120 for close to $1k on ebay. And then...honestly, it's not much heavier than a 70cc saw....so I could use it for that kind of work too...it all happened in about 5 seconds while I stood there holding it. And then the decision was made. Wanna buy a 3120XP?

      @@felixbinette9752 Pretty heavy and power full saw. If you have not run saws much be careful with it. At 54 it will get heavy real fast. And truth is you only need a saw that large ever once in a while to fell big tree using long bar. In days time you will cut much more wood using a smaller saw. I am going to go to town tomorrow to clean up some blew down trees. I will take 136 a 55 and then a 575. Most will be done with the little 136. The bigger logs with the 55. The 575 will only be started if there is a stump to cut off.

    That's your additional fresh air intake blend actuator on the carb. Pretty much all strato saws have them. Be careful of the linkage on them - keep them clean and lubricated- if they start to get sticky it makes the saw through a HUuUS-qvarna temper tantrum. 🤣😉

    • @novicelumberjack
      @novicelumberjack  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The top one is?...or the bottom? And what lube should I use? Astrogluide? KY? Bust seriously...what lube and which one is the additional fresh air intake? From what I'm seeing, the top one is connected to the throttle trigger and the bottom is connected to the choke.

    • @IowaPerformanceSaws
      @IowaPerformanceSaws 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@novicelumberjack bottom one is. It will move with the choke but is also hooked to the throttle- unless they've done something different on the 592. Tug on it and see 😂 I just use a light silicone spray if I get a sticky one and work at it until it loosens up. They're also sensitive to binding (especially on Stihl) if you don't move the choke lever properly. At least that's my experience. They definitely look cool with all the extra stuff going on. I'm guessing it was stolen from the concrete saw fresh air setup or at least in part.

    • @cliffclark6441
      @cliffclark6441 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IowaPerformanceSaws Yes that linkage is a common problem and often cause no start problem. Do not think it was stole from concrete saw. Truth be knowing it was stole from a old hillbilly who leaned out carb to increase power while racing saws then reset carb to not cause cylinder scouring. Oldest saw trick in the book. But all this will be obsolete as fuel injection takes over. Saw carbs today are like 80 model car carbs trying to meet EPA requirements. And will pass away to fuel injection The 5 series saws have the weight of the 70s model saws and not the durability or power of the saws of the 90s. .
