    I know this man has passed on I use to have few years ago panic attacks many times in stores it got so scary I would just leave my groceries in the cart & walk out but I want to say for me I released the fears the anxiety I was going through & called on the Lord I had none since way back then..the bible says we are not given the spirit of fear but faith trusting in the Lord..so thoughs who are going through panic anxiety attacks call out to the Lord it will be ok just trust in Him He will take it all away..

    It’s kinda funny.. this man that I found looking up videos to watch while having a panic attack. Turns out this man holds a special place in my heart. And it will be an honor to meet him in heaven.

    I have found your insights to be far more helpful and reassuring than any therapist or doctors. Hearing someone talking from the other side - having come through it all- is the most helpful thing for people still stuck in it. Believing we can get better is a huge part of recovery. So thank you so much, we are all very grateful.

    Thank you very much Yorrick, TH-cam hasn't provided me with an option to reply to you directly so I'll do it this way.
    Yes it takes practice to form the habit of letting go and the old fighting and running one is strong, at least to start with. Keep on doing what you're doing and recovery is inevitable. Best wishes, David.

    Thank you David.
    This video helped me calm down 👍. my mother is a sufferer of panic attacks for 30 years and usually can talk me down or distract me but it was at the early hours so i found this, didn't want too wake her at such a time..
    I've suffered from G.A.D and P.T.S.D for 16 years which in turn brings severe panic attacks and watched this video and you talked me down my friend and it's a great thing you're doing keep it up.

    I think you make a very good point in this video, it's easy to fall into the trap of having unrealistic expectations of recovery.

      +RobsLightingAndTech Thank you Rob. Yes we all have fear within us but what we don't want is sensitised fear. It is that which needs to be dealt with. Once it is, fear is no longer the dominant force in our lives. Best wishes, David.

    I can´ thank you enough for these videos. They are great instructions for people like myself who are new to anxiety diagnoses. I´ve tried your approach and I feel like its doing a lot of work for me. I do struggle a lot with your method and it doesn't always work out for me, especially when the sense of fear gets too great to handle, I just have to get up and try and run from it. Every time I watch and listen to one of your videos it motivates me to face my anxiety head on again. It motivates me to sit through the fear and let my body do the work for me. I am a huge control freak who is just now learning to let go. I believe that one day I´ll be able to call myself cured as well, and a lot of it is thanks to people like you who leave some instruction.
    Keep up the good and work and, sincerely, thank you for putting your time and effort into helping other people.

      +Matthew Coleman Thank you Matthew. I am not familiar with the condition you describe, only that it refers to involuntary muscle movements. I am not medically qualified so cannot comment on that condition. But I can try to help with any anxiety issues. If you could email me with some background (david.daish@sky.com) I will do what I can. Best wishes, David.

    David Daish what do you think of the "Panic Away" program?

    are you implying that we will never get back to how we were before this happened?

    • @OldRockMan58
      @OldRockMan58  8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      No that was certainly not my intention. Once recovered, you are a stronger person, a more compassionate one for what you have been through. In spite of how anxiety makes you feel now, the "old" you is still just beneath the surface and you will find that person again, plus the qualities I mention above. Nothing is lost except your fear.
