Can't get over, How good the water looks. 6500 gallons, 2 bottoms drains fed into 1 nexus. I've seen set up's with state of the art Filtration set up with a drum. And don't look that good! Well done.
Always meant to ask you Tim,do you ever build indoor ponds with window for clients who want tropical fish?..I could see 5,000 gallons or so on a slab..or a fancy basement. Would cost less than an all acrylic size aquarium of that size. I could see myself sitting on the ledge of an indoor pond tossing in bits of food for schools of fish on a cold winters day....75f/ 24C indoors.👍😎
Well done Tim mate, I'm glad you mentioned the hat as it was my first thought 🤣 Could you put a video together explaining the importance of heating a koi pond especially in winter explaining what "Bacteria alley" is and how to avoid it in the cheapest way possible. Maybe you sat on the sofa in the shop just having a chat to the camera 📷 possibly explaining what and why the inverter heat pumps you sell are your preferred choice and how to correctly choose the right size for a particular sized pond. Tim keen to know from the set ups you recommend you mention water levels are perfect? Is it just the water changes that keep nitrate levels down or how else is nitrate being removed from the pond? My last pond I struggled with nitrate and then had algae and blanket week issues constantly. Appreciate your thoughts and advice. Looking at a build soon... 👍🏻
