Jumbo Koi being added to brand new Koi pond!!

This pond has been in the making for around 2 months now. while the owner and his team have done the building work we have fibreglassed and done the full pipework and filter installation. The cladding will go on next week and we will do a final part.
This client really only wanted large Koi so that's what we go for them. Some -people like to grow them some people just like the larger Koi to start! A cracking system which will produce excellent water!!

Tim is it possible to run a bottom drain and skimmer into the same nexus...if so do you connect both pipes to each other before entering the filter....Or does this slow the flow down too much..

It’s possible but not ideal as you won’t get the flow into the filter. It’s always better separate even if you just circulate the skimmer

Jeroen Nishikigoi the only way to mature a pond is by adding fish. We will put them in slowly.
