Thanks for the video. I’ve had my Ultima II filter for a year a half and really like it. I backwash once a week in summer and about every three weeks in winter and it works great along with my UV filter. I wondered how often I would need to take it apart to clean it and this video really helps. My pond has a rubber liner with no sand on the bottom so maybe I won’t have as much problem with the tubes clogging.
i dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.

Hello Herbert , I have one of this system too. I ‘am having some problems with my filter system l woke yesterday morning and my waterfall stop working . My pump is working but my ultima ll ultraviolet system 40000 is not working . What do you think is wrong with it ?
is the media floating? I was told that with floating media, you need water to run in upflow direction (water exiting the laterals.) my understanding with the Aqua Ultraviolet Ultima 2, it is a downflow operation.
sorry for the late response media was over 10 years old. If you let it dry out you might be able to shake it loose but it's better to replae the media.
