Could u plumb one in series after a sand filter? So pump runs into the sandfilter for prefiltering, then the output of the sandfilter plumbed into thw input on the k1 microbead?
Hi, you could but I would not recommend a sand filter. They are made to use in conjunction with chlorine. A sand filter will clog too frequently on a pond. Use the K1 Filter on its one with a Uv and if you want to pre filter I suggest our Cetus Sieve.
I don't see any data before and after reducing nitrates results, and which best algae with micro k1...it's just plain plastics little wheels and advertising...
Hello Jose, Nitrates are a byproduct of the nitrogen cycle and need to be removed by plants or manually by water changes in a koi pond. There is no media that will remove nitrates. There is a lot of data you can look up online about Kaldnes , K1 and K1 Micro media. It is not just little plastic wheels, but one of the best types of media available. It is not only used on ponds, but used for biological and wastewater treatment throughout the world due to being very a effective biological media.
Excellent video

Would the bead filter work before an eazy pod
Yes, if you need to add more filtration. But if you are trying to ore filter the water I would suggest our Cetus Sieve.
God the Yanks are good at selling stuff i want one now 👍
Me too now...
@@dannycurrie1 on the skimmer line or they can run a pond om there own im told. Think id only have one as a second filter to polish the water tbh 👍
love this!
you might as well just buy another Nexus filter 220 320 for the price that this costs and run it in line with your original Nexus, with better results
The K1 Microbead filter will help polish the water if used in conjunction with a Nexus Filter.
