Loved this episode but just a tip with the Alila section, Miraval was actually independently owned and then bought by Hyatt. Alila was bought with the acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality which owned the Destination, JDV, Thompson/Tommie and Alila hotels.

My wife and I spent two nights at the WA Beverly Hills last summer and then a few months later two nights at the Park Hyatt New York. I was just a Explorist/Gold, but we both felt the service at the WA BH was significantly higher in all ways. That being said 240,000 Hilton points vs 70 Hyatt points is something to consider
Hyatt Regency Paris is a much better value than the Park Hyatt in Paris. The breakfast is not as good, but it has a great lounge. Service and upgrades are better at the Regency. Currently in the Regency, stayed at the Park last summer.
