Sometimes finding award availability is inconvenient if you cannot go the time you want to. I feel like sometimes you’re just better off paying upfront for the time you want to go.
I just used 200,000 United miles to travel one way Business Class from Ft. Lauderdale to Bangkok via SFO and Taipei. The last leg of the trip is on EVA and this is Economy class with no option to upgrade to Business Class and the 787 has no Premium Economy. The flight is less than 4 hours on a Monday night so hopefully lots of space.
What is your strategy for traveling with a player 2…book one business class seat if only one is available and hope another will pop up or wait for two and book them both at the same time? Great video! 🙌🏼
OK totally unrelated to airlines but if I can only really hit 15-20 nights per year organically with Hyatt is it worth doing a 20 night stay during a 3 month status challenge for globalist? I feel like I’d have to force it quite a bit and not sure how many real suite upgrades I’d be getting to make up for all the cash rates I’d ultimately have to pay to meet this challenge
It’s a strategy slowly being devalued and diminishing and why especially in airlines when you do want more customers or more traffic why the actual airline programs are skimming more than the partners 👎
If the name of the game is flexibility and we value flexible currency, it's also time to start looking at other destinations than Europe/SE Asia. It just seems saturated. I don't blame airline partners I just think this game is getting saturated on popular destinations. Thanks gents for your weekly videos.
