While Hilton points are not all that valuable, their top-tier luxury hotels are quite amazing. They have some of the nicest chain-operated hotels in the world and today we are going to explain the differences in each of their 3 luxury brands.

Conrad Washington DC was very nice! Great view, great spacious regular room, great bar, close to everything
hey love your podcast! i would love to hear your takes on each ihg brands
The Conrad in Osaka, Japan is amazing, highly recommend it as it was the best hotel experience I've ever had. I have also stayed at the Conrad's in Tokyo, Bangkok, London and Vegas. Vegas was the only one I felt disappointed with. I have only stayed at one Waldorf in DC and I was disappointed with it. I travel a lot for work and stay at either Hilton or IHG properties depending on who I am with. I prefer IHG on the lower end but prefer Hilton on the higher end.
yeah staying at the Conrad in Tokyo is amazing 😭 they bailed me out of a expensive bad situation when I needed some cash for when a restaurant didn’t accept cards
@@zacharyrichard2764 I goto Japan every year. I learned the hard way to always carry cash.
WALDORF Los Cabos is amazing! Best service I've experienced. Waldorf Grand Wailea in Maui is pretty awesome too. Conrad Tokyo was amazing, got upgraded to a corner suite with a beautiful view.
just returned from a trip to the Conrad, Algarve! One of my favorite Conrad properties ive stayed at yet
Excited for this one!!
The Waldorf in Phoenix was nice.
FOR THE STAY
Great episode guys!!
Ive been to 2 conrad hotels and 1 was good 1 was bad. The good was conrad manila in philippines, was upgraded 4 categories up, to a room thats valued 600 a night, stood there 4 nights, the hotel was modern, clean, super luxurious with a great lounge and breakfast buffet, best Ive had, all for 50k points or 250 average per night. The bad was conrad hong kong, the rooms were outdated, they dont upgrade you as a diamond member, and is 80k points, but cash price is 500 dollars, not worth it at all. Their location is great but thats it. their breakfast is great and the lounge too, but for the price, other brands would be better
Did you guys comment on SLH?
Waldorf Monarch beach is my favorite. Also, wouldn’t Curio be up there with LXR.
Did you drive there? Heard it’s valet only for $70/day for parking.
Curio brand in the int'l space can definitely have that 5 star quality e.g. Kenya E. Africa
@@kwame717 Yes, it’s $70/night and the only parking option.
@@nubianpwr planning on going to Curio’s new all-inclusive Zemi Miches in the DR next year.
Conrads in Tokyo are probably better than all Waldorf in the U.S.
Big Hilton fan
I've stayed at Conrad Tokyo, Osaka, and Seoul and I feel like I had a much different view of the brand than the reviewers in this video since the service in the Asian branches was impeccable in all those locations. I haven't stayed in any of the American Conrad properties so maybe my view would change once I try them in the US.
Yes it’s well known outside US Hilton hotels are at another level. 👍 The US properties can’t even compare.
I agree. Even the NA Conrads I've stayed in were almost impeccable. Notably Conrad Tulum and Conrad Nashville.
I've stayed at several Conrad properties in several locations in the US. If you're looking for that 4.7-5 star luxury experience, including service and Diamond status recognition, don't bother😎
Conrad is barely upscale or luxurious in the US, to get actual luxury, waldorf or lxr, but in other countries yes its 5 star for sure
Ooooooohhh Weeeeee to the very top, not the bottom lol
WA is definitely more Lux than Ritz. St. Regis is more comparable
Have many Ritz-Carltons have you stayed at? I would put them equal, except I've received a suite at the Ritz more consistently.
@@Re3iRtH stayed at plenty of them locally and internationally. Ritz properties are often dated and service is underwhelming. WA is a step above. St. Regis is more akin to WA
@@tinyblackmage Agree to disagree. I'm Hyatt Globalist and Marriott Platinum and I've have the best service and upgrades at the Ritz.
How many nights per major brand do you think you stay at on average per year?
