    AMERICAN FAMILY BUILDS THEIR HOUSE OFF GRID IN GHANA AND SET UP A LAUNDRY IN KUMASI GHANA
    Off-the-grid or off-grid is a characteristic of buildings and a lifestyle designed in an independent manner without reliance on one or more public utilities. This American family, moved from the USA to Ghana and have built own sustainable off grid homes within the Kumasi Area in Ghana.
    The land is located in the rural, lush and farming area of the Ashanti region in Ghana.
    The land was completely untouched when the family decided to purchase and build on it. They have solar electricity, medicinal garden, bore hole and are also working on a food garden.
    It is said that at least 1,500 African Americans have moved to Ghana since 2019. In this video, they share their experiences on what it’s like to be an American living in Ghana.

    My name is Jasmine and I have relocated from Sydney Australia to Ghana in west Africa as of the year 2020.
    My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana and other parts of Africa, from the food, to the culture, to the lifestyle and everything in between. My goal is to satisfy your curiosity about Ghana and other African countries.
    My prayer is that these videos do just that for several African’s in the diaspora.
    Follow your bliss because life is short, follow your bliss because human life has no intrinsic value, follow your bliss because everything happens for the greater good and follow your bliss because it has all happened before.

    I’m absolutely impressed by this family!!! They have the commitment, dedication, correct mindset, empathetic, don’t complain about simple things, appreciate the culture, providing employment to locals, and business savvy.
    If Ghana gets about 10,000 returning diasporan families with such mindsets, it would be a game changer in development, employment and culture.
    Thanks Jasmine for this video.

    I am Sierra Leonean, and i love this family for their industriousness and their business acumen. I am thrilled to see my brothers and sisters, coming back home. Like my wise brother so eloquently puts it, we have the same blood running through our veins, ( and the same DNA too) why should we let the Chinese, Europeans and others, come to the mother continent, roughing it up, until they get to their end goal, which is becoming very wealthy off the backs of our people? our brothers and sisters African diasporans need to start coming over here, to their motherland now, which is certainly their blood bought right to do.

    Thank you for tour, this family are encouraging to everyone that has the mindset that Africa is poor, and there's nothing in Africa, but this family is a clear evidence that Africa is full of untapped opportunities, and enough mineral resources, freedom, and peace in abundance in Africa.

    😅😅giving a little something is just giving a tip...same as in the west. You tip without being asked.
    I just love my American/Caribbean brothers and sisters coming back home. Just remember you only have to live with the people to learn more about the culture, language, likes/dislikes...and you will fit in. Its just the same way we Africans have to adapt when we go to America/Caribbean or Europe really. We change our mindset/attitude/likes/dislikes/food/culture etc, etc to fit in...you do the same and you'll be just fine

    Hi Jasmine I am not surprised that the people of Ghana believe that Americans diasporate has money, this is because of their practice of handing out money like it was confetti. This is my own Observation and have manny examples if needed.

      @Howardstwein912 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Of course we will give out money to our people if we see them in need. Especially to children on the street etc. Maybe we shouldnt because it give people the wrong impression and sometimes you get a few kids following you for a while, but that doesnt matter. Most diasporans enjoy giving to their own people.
      Soon africans will realise that we are not rich in the west (actually the poorest demographic) but will appreciate that we still try to help anyway. Thats what matters.
