Arya saying to Nymeria “That’s not you” meant that she understood that her wolf had another calling, that being her companion was not what she was meant to be.
I was looking this up while editing! Cause in the moment I obviously took it to mean it wasn't actually Nymeria but apparently it's also a callback to an episode in season 1 where Arya says she doesn't want to be a lady.
@@LippsReacts Yeah exactly. I was about to add that to my comment, but I had already exhausted my mansplaining credits.
hey can you please put gloves on and do a reaction to the movie Austin powers international man of mystery
I don't understand why people don't get it at first, that's not You = your personallityy
@@fedegerman1690 Considering the number of people who don't really take the time to figure out themselves, it isn't all that odd.
Anytime this show has you feeling too hopeful, remember what Ramsey told Theon: “If you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention.”
😭💀😭
I love love this episode! "Reunited and it feels so good", LOL!
almost edited that out but hoped people would get a lil smile with me there :)
Seven seasons and you're still a Sweet Summer Child (25:38)
Truly the light inside me dies a tiny bit every episode tho!!!
Wow, I love the faster episodes. I hope this keeps happening for this season.
this was just a shorter episode i believe
This was the episode in which the _least_ happens from all the ones are left.
is that a guinness original you're sipping on?
The Queen in the North😉
As much as I despise the final season can’t wait for you to reach it! So many moments that I can’t wait to see you react to
Still so much to discuss!!
Theon.... PTSD is really a bi*c*!! When he looked around and saw everyone being mutilated.... he became Reek once more! As for wanting a win for characters, there are always exceptions. Joffrey, Ramsey, and Cersei, most notably.
the PTSD hit Theon hard. What a phenomenal actor, you could see in his entire demeanor that he was more Reek than Theon. Also agreed on the exceptions. There are definitely some characters it was always easy to hope for bad/downfall with
@@LippsReacts I completely agree! Alfie Allen should have gotten an Emmy for his portrayal of Theon/Reek! For me, his acting is a lot harder than someone like Kit or Emilia... Yes, they portray their characters well, but does it involve the same depth of emotion and physicality of Theon's character? IMO at least... hehe
i can deff agree that Alfie Allen deserves his flowers for this role and should have taken home some awards. I think this cast at large does a great job of micro acting that make the show as good as it is
Great episode, great reaction! And I agree about Theon's departure ... either he or Yara would have been killed if he'd attempted to save her, probably both!😕
you're probably right!
Theon chose iron without.
You just saw the slowest episode from the ones that remain.
while editing i was reflecting on this a bit. I've come to see it as more of a foundation setting episode. A reset and set up. Lot's of phenomenal dialogue if you break down some of the scenes but they get lost in this episode as it is almost an overdose of dialogue heavy moments but with a banger of an ending that leaves you turning to episode 3 in anticipation
You have to watch Blade 1998
This is where the writing gets to be rollercoaster levels of quality. The dragonstone scene is stupid, the only redeeming part is Tyrion's battle wit, and Grey Worm's love, whereas the writing for Dany has become "trust women", and not much more substance.
Sam and Jorah is fantastic, as is Arya with Hot Pie & Nymeria, with Jon & Littlefinger's scene being an okay one.
Maybe spoilers ahead?
It's just that, whenever I hear Lipps be excited about something I know I was, too. But then also knowing that it's going to be such a wasted opportunity kinda bums me out a little.
😭😭it's so sad isn't it? like you want to warn your friend but even if you tried they won't understand how dark it will be in the end.
