He didn’t kill them just because they killed his puppy. He was a killer and worked for them until he fell in love. He only changed because he had someone to love. His wife knew he needed something in his life to love but those guys beat the love out of him and his old boss killed his friend. No, you think mafias and gangs are extremely rich to create an empire? Im going to bring you to the underworld hierarchy, Mafias spent half of their wealth in bribes, power is absolute with them, because to earn more, to protect the family, you can't stay hidden, you need judges, commissioners, lawyers, detectives, politicians, doctors and a bunch more government officials, then their own family and hitters, businesses, etc. Mafia are powerful, because of that. Gangsters rules the streets, but even they run from mafia, very few rare are truly rich, and they barely can hire actual pros to be their hitters. In Asia, especially the Chinese Triads back in the day, can literally crash through 10 motorcycles, get out, finish them off in broad daylight, and drive off never getting stopped. Because these actions even by China government, the CCP, doesn't care bad people killing bad people, their message are simple, don't be a gangster, because anywhere in the world, the government willingly pays mafias for revenge. FBI can capture the Don Corleon anytime they wanted, but they can't because of their reach. For Wick to kill enough to create an empire, he needs to destroy good people as he is serving one of the mafias, meaning government officials and organisations that can't be bought, to a point they won't interfere anymore. I genuinely when I watched this I was rooting for the dad, he is the one trying to stop the chain of destruction his son had caused, it's just Karma for bad people, Don Corleon won't be chased and hunted by FBI if he didn't push things too far, power is such a fickle thing, once you at the top, all you are doing is making sure your own people know their position, earn their loyalty and made sure they don't go on rampage. That's why Mafia have hitters from outside the family, the last thing a Mafia boss wants to do, is give hitters a purpose to hunt them. So it made sense when John Wick wanted out, they gave him a very expensive way out, as Wick has a purpose, to marry the woman he loves. There are hitters to this day, a very professional hitter, works in CIA, they want to be rich, work for Hunter Biden.
My family loves these movies. Before the fourth one started I asked my grandma if she was ready to see some heads shot and arms snapped. She fell and broke her arm on the way out of the theater. She said she regretted the fall but not the night out. I’ve watched many shoot em up beat em up movies with her.
The concierge at the hotel, Lance Reddick, played Zeus in Percy Jackson, Lt. Daniels in the Wire and Agent Broyles in Fringe and countless other roles. He was a great actor. RIP "Harry" was also in The Wire as Detective Lester Freaman, the guy behind the actual wires.
When he asked if it was exclusive he wanted to know if there was anyone else on the job. He said yes that way he stays in the loop without raising suspicion as Viggo knows they are "friends".
I insist on a name change until Addison learns the name of the singers who were responsible for at least 2 generations of black folks... Bobby Womack, Teddy pendergrass, Al Green, the Ojays, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield ... I mean dang, what do y'all play at your family reunions?!!??
One thing I can never un-see once it was pointed out to me: When John's Charger fell off that ledge and crashed below, you can see the underside of the car. The car had no engine or transmission! Not even exhaust pipes! haha guess they just wanted to dump a junked car. I do love how initially the story felt basic, but then it opens up and unfolds into this world of criminal organizations and assassins that are well established. They don't have to explain it all to you, they just present this world and you see how deep this underworld goes. You'll see how much deeper it goes in the next movies for sure.
@@edn Haha yeah you'd think the movie editors would have caught that. I'm sure that was probably the only angle of the car falling they had and maybe they couldn't do anything about it. But hell, go and CG an engine in there or something! LOL

His security system is that anyone who is in the criminal world knows you don't ef' with the devil especially not in his own home. The gold coins although they are gold and therefore valuable it is what they represent that is the true worth. Each coin is a favor earned. So, if you have a lot of them your presence is greater. John didnt miss shots in the pool house. First, when bullets hit glass you can't predict where they are going to go. Second, the glass is shatterproof because of the water. It is designed to hold together.

The reason the insurance guy was looking at his gun, because the gun was the one vigo gave him, and if you count the bullets, vigo shot the rest of the mag into marcus earlier. If you watch the bullet counts for each magazine there isn't one extra shot like other movies where the mags are unlimited. I find it wild that Keanu and the actor playing vigo are only 4 years difference in age.
Born Jardani Jovanovich in Belarus, he was orphaned as a child and adopted by the Ruska Roma - with is an ethnic group as well as a criminal syndicate - who then began training him as an assassin at the Director's (Anjelica Huston) performing arts institute in New York City. It isn't clear when he changed his name to John Wick, but Jardani translates to John from Romany, and "Wick" is the phonetic pronunciation of the final four letters of his birth name. We also don't know when exactly John received all of his tattoos, but as we get a short tour of the Director's institute we see that the older students are already heavily tattooed with Catholic imagery similar to John's, possibly indicating they've gone through a similar initiation into the assassin underworld. We also see the students in the process of various kinds of training, from dancing to wrestling, and so much more - John is an expert. Peace out.

13:00 what are you talking about? John wick IS his own security. All you have to know is that its john wicks house & its enought. Theon didnt know. 😂
As someone who carries on a regular basis, you have my respect brother.
My man!!!

“Ballerina, the knife play is a step above.”
Hahahaha… see you in the next two movies 🤨😎
Isn't Ballerina from John wicks world
Keanu is a genuine good guy IRL....
“He messed up the Lexus! “
“We gotta pay Safelite, then we gotta go to Discount Tire” 😂 love the realistic review
😂🤣 all I could think about was bills🤦🏿♂️ -Brandon
When he asked if it was exclusive he wanted to know if there was anyone else on the job. He said yes that way he stays in the loop without raising suspicion as Viggo knows they are "friends".
I insist on a name change until Addison learns the name of the singers who were responsible for at least 2 generations of black folks... Bobby Womack, Teddy pendergrass, Al Green, the Ojays, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield ... I mean dang, what do y'all play at your family reunions?!!??
😂🤣 see you didn’t even have to do me like that!
-Adison
Yeah @Addison… this is a fair question. We are all trying to figure out how this happened to you and how we can help you fix it.
@@edn naw dude, you got slow jam detention... Smh... You should do some soul music reaction videos as penance...
@@ayannatraylor-mahmud56nah, don't give them ideas 😅😂🤣
And if I may add: The Chambers Brothers. Time has come today. In my top three for me of Best songs ever
The most realistic thing in this movie - we've all been in clubs so loud no one would notice gunshots.
You have never been working 10 feet of a gun shot. You will hear it. If it's large caliber
13:20 he’s John Wick!! People supposed to know better lol
You'll see how much deeper it goes in the next movies for sure.
lol I gotta go back and look at that again, good catch!!
-Adison
@@edn Haha yeah you'd think the movie editors would have caught that. I'm sure that was probably the only angle of the car falling they had and maybe they couldn't do anything about it. But hell, go and CG an engine in there or something! LOL
“I’m clearing that guy out” is crazy 😭
Dean Winters (Mayhem) was a main character in Oz and Law & Order SVU. He’s been around for awhile
I thought it was a fun touch that the brother in one of the Mayhem commercials (the one with the basketball hoop over the garage) was the actor who played his brother in Oz.
I drink that sink out before I drown 🤣🤣🤣 You killing me. You should see reaction from specialists reacting to him and how he trained for this. That's why it looks so real.
Y'alls fresh perspective is almost as entertaining as the movie. 😂 Keep up the good posts.
Mayhem was not a killer. He was a personal assistant. That's why he laughed about shooting the gun.
We need more movie reactions like this!🙏 the dog breed is a Beagle 👍
If those dudes had known who they were messing with, they never would have even tried it. John’s reputation was enough for people to leave him alone.
Oh just wait. John Wick 2 - the Sommelier scene. *Chef’s kiss. Best scene of any Get Back Must Be Had type of movie. Trust ❤️
Yesssssss LOVE that scene so much!!
So happy to finally see y'all get started in this JW franchise🔥🔥🔥 Let me keep watching so I can see their faces when they see Theon Greyjoy😂😂😂
Keanu is the real one with the guns. Check out the video of him training on the gun range for this.
“In the hood they give you nicknames… you legendary if they know your first and your last!”
Hella facts!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bullet proof vests still hurt if their doing their job and bullet proof vests are most definitely not stab proof. A blade can penetrate Kevlar with enough force.
And Vego was laughing because he was STONED! The previous scene he burned down a whole J by himself after his Theon was dead.😂
As a woman who’s done donuts in her car (6 speed dodge dart) it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. I did annoy my neighbors but I meant to because I was moving and they had it coming. Me and my daughter yelling out the window bye b words! While I did donuts in the parking lot at 2am, lol.
🤣😂🤣 live yo life to the fullest! -Brandon
For those who missed it, when Vigo is on about the "bodies he buried that day" it changes to john wick digging up the ground to symbolize he is digging the person he was back up
The way y'all got excited about seeing Theon😂😂😂😂
He on some bull in this too😂
slurp...I'm drinking that whole sink....lololol...damn near fell out of my bed....lololol
This is the BEST Get Back movie series!!!!! I hope y’all watch them all. The world building is the best for this genre. Its stellar.
Ohhhhh this is gonna be good. I can’t wait until they see Theon !
I believe it would be "Reek" in this movie ;) :P
“Who’s he prayin’ to?”
“The hoodie god.”
😂
27:11 Real talk: when you juice, you can use all the fruit pulp and fiber stuff as a good part of like, a pie or carrot cake or apple bread.
I was fr about to comment that!! If you get into juicing, baking is gonna be happening next. That or plant husbandry cuz food pulp is great for composting
29:26 rest in peace King, Lance Reddick. He was in The Wire also.
@@brianattyberry So was Harry
"Friend"
Winston, the hotel owner and from GOT also was the voice of Tai Lung. The evil cat from Kung Fu Panda 1
Two words...."I'm sorry." might have prevented a whole world's worth of mayhem
If you like Willem Dafoe (green goblin), you have GOT to watch The Boondock Saints. Legendary movie.
Yes please. They’d have a blast with that one.
One of my favorites for sure. They should def watch it, I'm sure they gonna enjoy it!
This video is old, but I just discovered you two. Y'all funny. Subscribed.
Welcome to the family!!! 🙏🏾

I never thought about chugging the sink water when being drowned in it 😂 genius
John Wick 2,3,4- The Continental…..we can wait for GOT❤❤❤❤❤😊
I’m down to do more!!
-Adison
NO ONE growls like Keanu, man ☠️☠️☠️
Keanu and Cavill are the best growlers for sure 😂
I clicked so fast I love John wick 😂😂
That said welcome to the get back franchise.
Ballerina is in the same Universe as this movie. It's a spin-off of John Wick.
I was looking for this comment
The Ballerina movie Adison was talking about/watched is the 2023 movie on Netflix, no association to JW universe. The Ballerina JW universe movie hasn’t come out yet.
@@YenShively Oh Damn! Thanks for the heads up on that. Wouldn't have thought there was another recent, similar action movie with an identical title, haha.
@@eudite1762 right!? Haha very silly of the previous movie to do so.
So Willem Dafoe (the dude that plays Green Goblin) is a phenomenal actor, he's been in so many movies but I think his best is a movie called Boondock Saints. He plays an FBI agent that's investigating murders of "bad people" in Boston. It's two vigilante brothers that do Batman shit without the costume and they do kill, as Batman doesn't. Yall should definitely check it out, on here or in your free time. Its a cult classic and literally one of THE BEST movies I've ever seen
It may have already been answered, but the gun John uses when he escapes against the SUV is called a Kel-Tec KSG. it's a 12 gauge bullpup style shotgun. I'm not a big gun guy, but I did buy one about a year ago, and I love it.
16:35 When a Russian crime lord's reaction to the name John Wick is "Oh," you know somebody just messed up big time!!
“Dog finna have bubbly guts” 😂😂😂😂😂
fr though lol!
-Adison
You fellas have to react to Boondock Saints. It was an independent film, but when it came out on dvd, it sold massively. So much so that it caused them to film a sequel. But John Wick's partner in this plays an FBI agent in that movie. I know you'll love the film. Nothing but love and respect from Cincinnati, Ohio. Peace, fellas!
The dog is actually called a beagle
1:07:10 Ballerina is part of this franchise, same universe.
“She gone and we sittin here playin” bruh that made me laugh so hard😂
Peace out.
If u never seen bill and Ted it’s all time classic
When watching reaction videos, I usually skip around when the reactors talk (I like looking at facial expressions) but with this reaction I watched the whole video, yall are hilarious lol
Adison, there's another JW spin-off movie coming out soon called "Ballerina" as well. Watch out for that.
I gotta catch that!!! Good looking out! 👌🏾
-Adison
This is random but a few years ago I was trying to rent an apartment and they ran a background check on me and it came up that my profession was somehow saying I was a contract assassin LMAO I don't know what kind of bootleg website they were using for the background check but the landlord treated me differently after that kind of low-key felt like John Wick
5:26 I'd Reccomend The Boondock Saints. Another great "shoot em up" movie. He plays a detective in it
Lmao shoutout to TH-cam showing the timed comments now so I can just like this comment 🤣
"you know you a bad dude when the bad dudes know about you..." 😂 Classic
Willem Dafoe along with playing a detective in Boondock Saints also plays a detective in American Psycho
53:20 "I can't help you with John Wick!"....GOLD🤣🤣🤣🤣
Black coffee is an acquired taste. But if you try hard, you can do it.
"Is the contract exclusive?"
"No, it's open."
So he knew others were coming to kill John even if he said no, so he said yes to not tip Viggo off, then set out to protect his friend from the shadows.
Willem Defoe was a crazy cop that for the movie's parameters would be considered a good guy in Boondock Saints. You should check it out.
Oh my God! This has been one of my top 3 favorite movies since I saw it in the theaters a million years ago. (Which I guess is how you guys ended up in my feed.)
Watching you guys watch this for the first time was a pleasure. The oooo’s and damn’s were on point!!!
The commentary was perfect, especially because I knew it was just going to get better and better!!!
❤😊❤
And the coin is based on rep and number of bodies dropped so from John wick is mad dollar.
“I can drink all that sink water before I get tapped out” is crazy 😭
