Summary: For the price you can’t go wrong whatsoever it’s very comfortable and very good sound quality the mic quality is good for discord or talking to friends but not very good for recording etc.

It's very Important to have RGB lighting on a 1 inch logo that you barely see.
It IS nice to have the option. I own this headset, and with a headset you will rarely see the rgb lighting wherever it is. It's a nice to have. I personally keep it on while charging, but I don't use it in wireless mode as it takes ~4hrs off the battery life.
The price of this mic is justified, it's so solidly built, I've owned it for over 6 months. It's soooo comfortable, it's perfect, I have a huge fro and can still hear it no problem.
Im going to comment this since reviews of headsets are often skewed a bit and don't really portray how the mic can sound. For the Void Pro, The Out-Of-Box mic quality sounds meh, and this is for most headsets, the Void Pro is no different. But you can change this specifically for the Void Pro to where it is CRYSTAL CLEAR for this headset. I've owned my corsair void pro since I built my PC 5 years ago, and I am STILL using it to this very day. This headset is built like a tank, the audio quality is superb. Deep and bassy, high trebles, rich mids, immersive surround. I've been able to pinpoint so many people in CS & R6Siege simply due to having this headset. For the mic quality however, Go into your Windows Sound Settings for the Void mic: Sound Settings>Input(Select Corsair Void Pro Microphone)>Device Properties>Additional Device Properties>Advanced, and change this to "2 Channel 16bit 48000Hz DVD Quality". Also worth noting, in these sound settings you can also turn off the "Listen" feature of the Void Pro to where it won't play your voice back or give you that feedback that can sometimes be annoying. Just in case anyone was having that issue.
Tbh, the Corsair Void Pro is in my opinion one of the absolute most underrated headsets of all time. At the price range, especially for the Wireless, it's sinfully underrated. It's a shame this headset isn't featured more often. I'm actually here in this comment section bc the little bendy piece on my Void Pro mic just now, after 5 years of HEAVY use and gaming for like 8-14 hours every day, just now began to crack, and so I'll need a new headset. The bendy piece has cracked all the way through in 3 places, but the mic STILL works flawlessly and clear, as well as the Audio. I've been shopping all over for a new headset, doing reviews, checking everything out. But I am dreading getting a headset that isn't as good as this, so I am literally about to buy another one of these. That's the only reason I'm here. So just in case anyone is considering buying this, my recommendation would be to just do it. It's superb for sure. This audio review here, isn't actually reflective of how this mic sounds once you change the sound quality setting for it. Although I glady appreciate mic reviews, they're just most of the time the "Out-Of-Box" quality. I've gotten countless compliments on how clear my mic is. It's legit up to par with my actual streaming mic. I would rate the Void Pro a 10/10 in my book

It's a wonderful headset and I've used it for almost 4 years. Great wireless range, comfortable to wear for hours and hours, light, great sound, and it sounds great to other people. My only grievance is that you cannot elegantly turn off the beeping. You have to choose between voice or beeps, and while feedback is nice, I wish there was a mute option. The most egregious one is the low battery beep. I understand why there is a low battery reminder, but again, it would be nice to have the option to turn it off. At around 20% and lower, there is a very loud *boop-boop* like every 5 minutes to let you know that you are on low battery. It's extremely loud and there is no way to make it any quieter. This device has a wonderful battery life of what feels like 16-ish hours, however given that it's miserable to use them at the 20% or lower mark, it effectively has 12 hours of enjoyable use. The device already has a nice, and silent way of letting you know battery is low. The Corsair logo stops doing the RGB and just turns solid red on low battery. It's so awesome. It's not hard to keep a headset charged, but it's kind of ridiculous that you headset is effectively unusable at 20% battery unless you are plugged in so that it doesn't make your ears bleed with system beeps. Like situations where I'm travelling, and reviewing some simple audio, should be easy. If the headset dies on me, sure it would be disappointing, but not annoying. The fact that the last 1/5th of the headset's battery life is waterboarding you with beeps is ridiculous.
I've finally gotten fed up and just went into this folder --> C:\Program Files (x86)\Corsair\CORSAIR iCUE Software\sounds\default and deleted all the battery related sounds. Now I don't hear the beeps and the headset is perfect.
I hope with the next one they give the option to mute certain sounds. The mute/unmute sound is just fine and actually scales with your volume. The same with every other system sound. It's specifically the "below 20% battery" notification that is spams every 2 minutes until you aren't under 20% that is unscaled and earplitting.
Is it still better than most headsets to this day?

I've had mine for about 4 years, still works like the day I bought it, all I've done was replaces the original mesh ear muffs with foe leather, It's been the most reliable electronic I've ever bought. Ironically I avoided buying this originally when I found out they were made by Dell. Dell screwed me over for $1200, plus 100+ hours of my time and an additional $150 dollars to try to get my laptop fixed which was still under warranty because dell refused do anything.
I bought these and love them. I was using turtle beach px3 wireless which were decent but my pc wouldn't connect half the time and I had to plug and unplug them a million times before my mic would work. These are much higher quality sounding and significantly more comfortable. Great video!

90 degree rotation on the earcups also helps in saving space when you keep it in your backpack 🎒. It also helps in case you want to put it on a flat surface.

I have the first one and it broke within 2 weeks. I was really loving them too. The cable just started to wear and eventually ripped. I stored it properly, took care of it like it was my child. Pretty sad because all my other cosair products are amazing.

It is totally affordable I just bought one for my pc since I’m getting one for Christmas. It is a great headset and I can get up and walk around without worrying about my headset falling off like my old Astro 10 headset for my Xbox. This is definitely a 5 star headset. This is also affordable for 65$ at Best Buy. It also blocks out all the other sound. The hearing is great. Make it at max volume and you will still hear it great.
I just run a micro usb to the headset and plug into my usb port and play while charging...
Another great product from Corsair, I do love their inovations, my whole system is Corsair and I use the HF2012-RX headset which are awsome, would love the RGB.

ive had the void non pro model for over a year now and i can never go back to a wired headset ever again. The connection never drops, battery time is amazing at well over 13-14 hours on a single charge, and the sound quality is good as well. dont think that i will be upgrading to this model being as they are practically still the same headset.

i ordered the void pro headset yestoday, used to only buy razer but id take the void over the kraken pro
hve kraken pro currently and i need to headset. Razer sound is very good however the material is terrible easly gets fucked up all earpads are fucked up by now and i used to take care of those headset. Also it has some hardware issues as it reconects and disconects time to time while im gaming and have to restarts game and heatset so it works. thinking about trying corsair.

You can still use the wireless void headset while it's charging via USB... You just need to keep the dongle plugged in too. I do this whenever I forget to charge it, which is rarely needed. Battery life is very good!

I have the first 7.1 Corsair wireless headset. My problem is that when the battery is going down and I plug the cable in, my friends hear a buzz sound from the charging. This doesen't matter if it's Skype or Discord.
Is that fixed?
Plug it into a low power USB port. Anything below USB 3 and you won't get the buzzing.

Reindeed change your windows recording properties to dvd quality. The software defaults it to like telephone or something horrible. It fixes all issues.

Great review! Thanks for making it. I would totally have bought this, but I don't like that the mic quality is meh. I also do not like that you can not charge the headset while using it. This would have looked amazing with my computer build though.
and this is why I hate bad reviews. you can use it while charging, you just need to have the dongle plugged in while having the cord plugged in. misinformation is too common, whether accidental or not.
you know what you're right about rgb not being important for headsets, you saved me from making a mistake, cause it defeats the whole purpose in getting an rgb headset if you can't see it, sure, others can see it, but you can't

TbPlaysOw I've had my hyperx cloud 2 for a couple of years now and I have to say it's still just as good as the day I first bought it, and it's been through some wear and tear let me tell you, that braided cable can take so much punishment it's unbelievable. One of the best purchases I ever made.

I have the OG Corsair Void Wireless RGB and it is OK (got it super cheap on sale for like $70 worth in the UK well over a year ago) but as my PC and peripherals besides MOBO, GPU CPU and Monitor as well as some older HDD I got from another PC happen to be corsair branded and many of them have RGB I personally want to see a better headset from Corsair (as I am using only their peripherals and PC parts and because they have a bigger range of PC parts than any other manufacturer and they will have RGB sync software to sync peripherals and inside the case lighting even supporting MOBO lighting but only MSI is currently supported for that) they only seem to target the budget gamers not necessarily the higher end of the spectrum for their headsets at least

7.1 surround is a gimmick for gaming headsets. It breaks the sound in most games, or at least the emulated 7.1 does. Games like CsGo and Rainbow 6, where being able to pinpoint the location of enemies is important just break when using 7.1.
1 question if you have Surround sound on all the time does this affect the battery and if yes how much?
Idk if they have updated this headset but as long as you have the dongle plugged in and the charger plugged in at the same time it is still charging and usable. maybe this has already been said.
