Hyperx cloud stinger can be bad with the mic audio and some come defunkt when ordered offering a really low mic volume which can't be altered after much investigating. These are worth giving a miss.
Planars imo should be the standard driver for gaming headsets, especially since planars is faster and less tiring than dynamic ones in intense gaming situations ( atleast in my experience going from HD 598 to HE-4XX was huge jump in gaming experience, not so much for music ).

Well The 90 degree headset plug is vitally important to me as i like to play my xbox leaned back in my recliner and ive learned that over the years i will wear out either the headphone jack on the controller or the headset itself.
No offense I don't care what a "streamer" uses and the Logitech mentioned as your main pick the mic itself sounded just a booty as the Sennheiser. I should not have to fiddle around for hours in a program to "make" it sound good that is just ridiculous and even after you customized it - it still sounded muffled. What you did that was phenomenal was the fact you spoke through all the mics for us to hear and placing background noise for us to get an idea of what we are going to experience. Overall you are awesome and your review videos are superb quality. After watching this video it made my first headset shopping much easier and I greatly appreciate that. I've just been dying for a completely plain, matte-styled, slick, durable and superior quality headset with the best possible sound quality with the best mic quality with the most comfort. Not just aimed at gaming but still performing at it's best when you're using them for games to movies.
CoolerMaster has done magic with their mic, have heard so much good feedback, but ended up with the arctis 3 they were more complete for me and the build structure makes it an awesome headset that doesn't look like a gaming headset.
