    Coach Lee! Great to see you are active on the channel again! We all missed you! Is it possible you can do a review of different ways of backhand grips/styles? You introduced us to the "wave," but you also showed us the finger power. Another one is with the regular grip with thumb resting on the side. It would be great if you could differentiate the pros and cons of each.

    In doubles , how to move into position after a rear court player during a front-back combination plays a drop (cross / straight) , who should go in - if the reply is also a drop. If possible do a clip on this.

    Sir Lee I have started my career in my 1st standard till now with many breaks it had been 11 full years but my quality in play had never increased but watching your videos for 2 months only related to my problem in the court made my play better seriously. Talking about the breaks I had took a lot many just for my studies now I had a lot of time for badminton now I am 17 years old and now I can spear a whole 4 hors or a bit more for badminton daily so can you please tell me if I can make a good badminton career or totally leave it because I can't in clubs because the club players are not serious one in playing game and can't waste my time with them as they are not a good competition to me and this way I can't enjoy a game too and first point I am not a beginner and somehow a good player with a good footwork and reachability and the second point is that I can't play in clubs so what would you suggest sir? Should I continue hard for a good career at this age and is 4 hours daily sufficient enough to improve my badminton career please let me know. If there is a chance then please reply how to train hard to train atleast for national level iam serious about this so please give me a detailed information thank you sir.

    • @coachingbadminton
      @coachingbadminton  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your comment.
      Please let me confirm. You have about 4-5 hours training daily but the players arround you are not competitive or good players.
      You also do not have good level practice partner. But you have desire to be one of the top/best players in the world. Am I right?
      Before I advise me I need to know the condition arround you clearly. Please let me know if I miss anything else.
      I can feel and see you really like badminton and desire to achieve something in badminton. Lee

      to be a serious badminton training. I am going to make clips for you and others. I am fully booked until the end of August but from September, you will be able to see
      detail training program and clips for it. Until then please do general fitness training such as running, weight training and so on. Please use this comment session so other people can benefit from it. Lee

    I am thankful that I have a powerful backhand (i practice using a bottle of water..of course still full body drill) but my issue is that i have a hard time controlling the power.. :(

    • @coachingbadminton
      @coachingbadminton  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In that case you should try to improve control. You seem have a lot of power.
      Use less power and focus on control. Lee

    coach lee I wanted to ask you about badminton flexibility, how does flexibility affect my game and should beginner use stiff racket?

    • @coachingbadminton
      @coachingbadminton  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes flexiblelity is very important factor for badminton players.
      Players who have it can move easy and lightly and move deeper. Which racket to use is not easy to say as there are many factors to be considered.
