    I think you're nervous because you're making the RIGHT decision, always remember why you are joining in the first place, that should help you to keep going!!

    Hey I feel you bro
    Don't hesitate and please check BOb Proctor ( in his speeches about paradigm shifting ) because this is exactly what's happening to your right now ( it's the fear of the unknown) basically your ego is trying to keep you right on where you are because your brain ( subconsciousness mind) is protecting you!
    So you have to go through the wall of fear and it takes 21 days to get comfortable on a new decision!
    All the best

    I joined at 33. I picked a chair job. Because of my age, and my wife and kid, I wanted something less physically demanding and would allow me to spent nights with my family. I was not about to be on the flight line with those young bucks half my age.

      Right on. I hear you on that one PimpC. You made a great choice that's for sure. You can never go wrong with making your family the priority. I did the same!

      @pimpc hey dude sorry to bother you I’m kinda going threw this situation right now. I just turned 30 and I have a 2 year old have been seriously thinking about making some big changes in my life and joining but my biggest fear holding me back is not being able to see my wife and kid. I get the deployments but how did the desk job work out for you? And do you still get too come home and see your family at night

    I want to be in the cyber field, building computers and systems, coding etc, intelligence or linguist. Which would you recommend.

      Those are all pretty awesome, especially because you'll have get a Top Secret security clearance. Having that will make you super valuable in the civilian world. Personally I'd look into all of the intel jobs, they just translate to into higher paying jobs when you get out. Make sure to check on USAJOBS.Gov to see what the salary ranges look like on the federal side. Let me know how it goes!

    • @erikminamihata
      @erikminamihata  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      client systems for sure. I'm not too familiar with ground radar but I've seen job postings for that from Raytheon and Northrop. Seems legit!
