    Nice 👌 but I would buy some aluminium mesh and fix in the hole for the filler to bond to first 😉

    You do realise that you're trying to bodge the repair of a structural, load bearing part of your chassis right? There was metal there in the first place for a reason.
    Any tester worth their salt will fail and laugh you out of the place.
    This is the problem, rather than fixing people just pop filler on there!
    Learn to weld, grab yourself some scrap sheet metal and a cheap welder and have it done in a few hours - that way the repair is strong.

    • @vaughnfoster6451
      @vaughnfoster6451 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nothing wrong with using fiberglass it's strong and waterproof.

    • @matthewellis9885
      @matthewellis9885 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vaughnfoster6451 If it's that strong why aren't all cars made from it? It's a steel structure therefore should be repaired with steel and welded properly otherwise it's not a proper job.

    For what you have paid for that fibre glass kit, you could have just got the hole welded up be a professional for about £40. That repair will be lucky to last a year and will only make things worse. It will get you through a MOT as a temporary fix

    • @LT_TOMMY_
      @LT_TOMMY_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As described in the description mate it's a temp fix at best.
      The fibreglass filler was about £7

    • @matthewjenkins1161
      @matthewjenkins1161 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@LT_TOMMY_ A temporary fix means to regain functionality, like using a coat hanger to hold up an exhaust so you can get to a garage or home.
      Plugging structural rust holes with fibreglass filler doesn't restore any functionality and just makes the problem worse.
