I like coloring my silver with purple and Overtone works...but doesn’t last long even with not washing often, is expensive, and I HATE the smell...I’m going to try Artic Fox. I didn’t think it would work well on silver, so glad I found your video. 💜😊
It depends on your hair and how often you wash it too. I get at least 5-7 washes from overtone but I use a very dark color purple. Unfortunately, Light colors like this one don't stay on my hair more then 3 washes especially that I wash my hair more often because it's so hot. Try their darkest colors 🙂
Maryam Remias I only use dark purples. Overtone lasts longer in some areas, just not where I touch a lot, I guess. But I HATE the smell, and it seems to linger forever when you wash your hair. I’m going to give both Artic Fox and Manic Panic a try. 💜

That's the color I would like to get. I used Electric Paradise and the second time I used Frosé, Electric Paradise has an orange undertone and is rather bright, the Frosé worked just like a refresher for the previous color. Since you are applying Frosé on grey hair, I wonder if I should mix some grey/silver into Electric paradise to take out some of the warmth of the color and maybe it will leave me with your result? Anyway, really love the outcome, but can I say, you also have beautiful white/grey hair!
I don't know her personal experience, but I have very white in the front around my hairline and salt and pepper in the back. I've have decent luck with everything fading out completely with most semi-perm temporary colours. The ones that have me the biggest problem though are Arctic Fox and Lime Crime....they would NOT come out of my hair at all. It reacted more like a permanent colour than a semi. But Manic Panic has been the easiest to wash out so far. Any little tinge of colour (with the harder colours - red, green, blue) comes out pretty easily with a couple washed with Head and Shoulders.
I realize you haven't posted videos in a while but I was wondering if you're ever worried about any of these semi-permanent dyes or color-depositing conditioner products staining your grey (even though I know they shouldn't)? I took two years to grow out my grey and I'm terrified of that happening!!
Thank you Michele! The light pink didn't last long. It faded after a few washes but it did leave a slight yellow tint behind and I corrected that with purple shampoo
It’s such a beautiful colour. I really love the look of the semi permanent fantasy colours, I just wished they lasted longer. I wash mine 2 times a week, and it’s noticeably faded at 4 weeks. I have to retouch it then if I want the same vibrancy. I’ve been following you for awhile now, and the way yours fades always looks great.
Hi Maryann Am trying to dye my white roots as I am your colouring and I feel too silver doesn’t suit. I have an idea to use a black dye on roots for a few minutes to get a charcoal look then the following day on the rest of hair going over with the makki grey mask. Any ideas? X

I'm thinking I want to grow out & go grey. What do you suggest I tone roots with to blend to the growing out purple? Overtone or keep going with the Manic Panic? It kinda depends. In generel yes. But some colors will hold on for dear life. And its not even about brands or colors in general. Like in one brand it could be the pink that will fade to like 99% percent that little hint will stay, and in another brand the pink will be fully gone after 3 washes but tge green stays with a hint for like ever :)
If I'm going to go through the whole thing of Trance nation of going all gray since I have dark hair I would not even want to bother putting a ceiling color on that's what I'm getting away from I mean it's great for you putting different colors in but if I'm going to go through this whole process I don't want to spend no more time putting anything on my hair but washing it and conditioning it my natural Gray

I space out washing my hair when I have these colors on them. I wash my hair every 3 days and it lasts about 8 weeks but fades a bit with every wash 🙂
