Mfgs have a tough way to go at providing ergos and suspensions that fit people 5 ft and 100 lbs to 6'6" and 300 lbs and do it to meet a price point that interests the masses. Spec sheet jockeys need not apply here. It's not going to win any road races. But what Laura didn't like is what I love about the Ducs i.e. their relaxed way of delivering power. And when the suspension is right for the riders weight, there's nothing that inspires more confidence in dicing up tight, twisty roads than a trellis frame Duc. I used to have a 2000 yellow ST. Sure am glad to see them bring that color back. Against the black frame and other bits, it's the bee's knees!
A very negative review for a classic bike. The Rosso III's are fantastic, no idea why she said they were average even on a poor road. Kept going on about the colour as if that is the deciding factor in picking a bike. Poor poor review.
new kurosawa you are spot on bc i have this bike the headlight isnt LED its a Halogen.. But outside of that shes off on everything else bc yellow is the worst color of the bunch.. Tires are amazing engine is very good especially in touring and sport.. brakes are Amazing and bike id great on corners for leaning!!
no, i ordered mine with all carbon acessiores. around 17k euro... my first ducati. mt09 looks awful, ugly and the street triple hat a strange front header compared to the old models
and you get ducati character where triumph and Yamaha locks it. Park a Ducati next to Ferrari and it doesn't seem like out of place. Park the other two and you know the difference
its clear you don't get them.... from your first comment ... they were the first decent naked.... i have no issues with any of the bollocks you suggest....the bike is alive and has character ...... another point is... if you have to justify buying one.... don't .... go for whatever the best offer for high end parts are .... which is what you suggest...typical penny pinching brit attitude... me... i buy soul, character and what makes me smile ,i really couldn't give a flyer about owt else.
109HP, 454 lbs and $11,995? Nah. If you're going to pay the Ducati Total Cost of Ownership Tax get one that's thin and fast. You're in it for a penny, you're in it for a pound. If you're going to live with a high maintenance Italian Supermodel she better not actually be a frumpy housefrau. Buy the baseline Panigale V4 or old Pani on firesale and sell it in two years for most of what you paid for it. Either that or save your money get the Street Triple R, a bike that actually knows how to walk away from the pasta bar.
Kevin Brun Aside from the quick shifter anything else offered can be found someplace else for much less, plus I might add the quick shifter is no game changer. Anyone who wants a bike to use the quick shifter on isn't going to buy a monster but a panigale or even a supersport.
imagine, there are people who dont want a ducati supersport nor panigale. i have owned 2 year a supersport bike from yamaha and now i want some smoother to drive but still something eyecatching...
Yellow Ducati. All day every day. My favourite bike. But only in Yellow ;)

Can you recommend a colour?

Good Review.. very neat .. good job
Great review and thank you for not verbally introducing each section.
Good review of a bike that'll probably only be bought by existing Ducati owners - the Street and MT look better value though.

Kevin Brun - They do say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder - enjoy your new ride mate :)
Quickenuff Forme Thanks. it will arrive in 3 weeks but here in Switzerland it's Deep Winter 🤣
Nice review.
Did they make less hp on the 2018? (my 2017 claims 112 hp) or did they change the stats because they where incorrect before?
Euro 4 regulations require more restrictive exhaust designs which in turn bring the power slightly down.
So in other words it’s more expensive than the Triumph or Yamaha and has less features. But you get the badge. Sounds like a Harley, lol.

Fewer
Fits you very well

nice video and completed information about motorcycle
let's join us and get more information about motorcycle
The other gears feel flat because of the gear ratios

How many Ducatis have you owned?
I own 796 fantastic bike never gave me problems since 2013 the only way I would trade it. It would be 1200 or 821
Bikes good, but just as good as the prevs models.
Nothing new in here
i think a "big" improvment is the optional up- and down-shifter and the led-display (now you can see the gear and it looks beautiful)

Kevin Brun smoother and monster are words that hardly match, but yeah this new color is quite the blast from the past
propably you never owned a supersport, so you can't know what i mean...
looks like a plate of spaghetti with wheels
