I have the same issue with the fan 1. I used the printer for 2 weeks. After it started clogging. But it happened, because the fan 1 isnt spinning. So I bought a motherboard for the extruder. But its the same. Fan 1 isnt spinning. So I should buy a new mainboard like you did?
I had shorted my parts cooling fan and managed to repair it by soldering small pieces of wire to where I could find the contacts on the board. That worked well for a while but then I lost speed control of parts cooling fan. It is always on as long the usb-c port is populated (wether or not the other end of usb is connected to anything). The only times the part cooling fans turn off are a) if I pull out the ubc cable b) when i cancel a print. Do you think this might be a mainboard issue?
Yes sounds like a board issue, have you reached out to creality about that yet? Chances are they could get you a new board. Here's the email I reached out to them on, it normally took 1-2 days for a response. cs@creality.com
@@Zeltroix Oh thank you I will try contacting them, but since I'm from India there's always a headache with customs. I was thinking since I'm already running klipper I can change over to a BTT canbus board. Since the rest of the mainboard seems to be working well, I'll just offload the bad connections to the canbus extruder board. Hoping either works (~μ~)
I really enjoy your videos! Keep posting!
