I cannot thank you enough. I popped off the extruder cover on my K1 and low and behold one of those springs was seated so badly it was poking out the side. Removed both springs, cleaned the rail and now it's printing flawless. I was about ready to sell this thing for $100.
Didn't realize it was private, but I did private a couple videos to share with Creality support and I guess that's why this one defaulted to private also.
@@Dumpflam oh, for the S1 Pro, yeah on that one you can get it really close to the full 235x235 rather than the 220x220 but you need to play around with TTs firmware to achieve that.
@@Dumpflam The purge line is all the way on top where the letters are, and everything else is withing build area. Similar to how the K1 cleans their nozzles before a print.
Just got my K1 Max (noticed the Qidi plus4 just after the order had shipped), it has been 4 days of trying to work out the vfa problem before i got the K1 i didnt know what vfa was.. contacted creality support right away said i wanted a refund, in EU you have a 14 days cooldown time when ordering so you can return the product without a reason within dose 14 days and creality support is dragging it out, i said i wanted a refund and they send me videos to tighten the belt etc.. There is no problem with the belt tension or anything els. internet is full of desperate fixes that dose not really work to much.. Now wonder they ship the printer with some bonus filaments all being a mat surface semi transparent warm white material to hide the ringing/vfa problem, so fucking smart guys! Thats 900 dollars, they need to get there shit together 900 dollars of gear should produce a very good print no vfa, now its 900 dollars and even then its just a fucking headache!
@@christopherismcaceas4868 Yea when I stared printing around 250mms the prints where better... until now there is some shit with the x axis so back to printing horrible again after 2-3 weeks printing some object every day and there is a new nasty x axis resonance graph to sort out.. horrible.
Hello, you still have the big gears on the back of the engines, you can change them for smaller ones. That's the whole problem. A German-Russian did the conversion. This is the only thing that really helps. Known problem of the first series with the successors K1Max 4 generation, K1C already have the small gears on them. Kind regards from Germany Video name: Creality K1 Das BESTE UPDATE aller Zeiten
Creality support is garbage tier. I tired to return my K1 Max on the first day I started printing with it and they have refused to do a return. I tried to file a dispute but Capital One is just as bad.

was it not the tooth wheels of the steppers that were too big? I've seen that they went back to using small wheels on K1C
tengo el mismo problema con la ender 3 v3 corexz aun sin solución
why did you private this video?

question on a community post: how did you get that perfect build volume? and it doesnt touch the purge!!!
You can't, at least I don't think you can get a perfect 300x300, it's also going to be like 295x295 ish.
@@Zeltroix no yeah but you sent a community post wich showed your bed and the was a perfect sized yellow print on it (ender 3 s1 pro)

Now I want to add a sudden heat creep problem clogging the nozzle, heat from the extruder motor creeping in and softening the pla.
