It’s a Sin that he’s not managing somewhere.
Love Joe Madden, appreciate that he gave Shohei the chance to do both back in 2021 and truly to shine as a unicorn 🦄 🤴💫💙💥😍
It wasn't up to him
Agree. Cheer for Joe and Shohei.
There is not one season over 500 for Ohtani with the Angels; sadly, his best years are behind him.
@@bryanbohlken7653 your best year has past a long ago. Ohtani yet to come.
Usually, players have their best years in their 20's. I think Ohtani peaked already and has a lot of wear and tear on his body. @@koningklootzak7788
Otani was able to complete his work not only because of his own ability, but because he was blessed with the manager .
No one gave up on the two ways.
Kuriyama, Scioscia, Maddon, Nevin, thank you everyone.
Joe was the only manager who had the vision and leadership to see Ohtani as a twoway player.
I’m a Dodgers fan and no knock on Doc but I really prefer Joe Maddon and would love to see what he could do with that team…
How Maddon refused to adapt to analytics. Why do you think he’s not managing anymore?
@@Ktaurus26 Maddon uses analytics. He just doesn't use it exclusively. If analytics is all you need, why do you even need a manager? Just make decisions based on what the spreedsheet says. Imagine if Shohei doesn't choose his pitches, but he only does what the computer program tells him to pitch. It just won't work. The reason Maddon isn't managing has more to do with the lack of quality pitching on the team.
Good Ol “Firin’ up the boys” Joe. There’s are several reasons Joe isn’t managing anywhere
This man not managing a team is why many aren’t making playoffs, hire him as a senior consultant or VP in the front office
So why doesn't he play RF? That would make him an even more valuable player. Maybe to keep as much stress off as possible on his throwing arm?
The same reason he isn't a bullpen pitcher. He wants to be a starting pitcher.
How about we wait to see if Ohtani can do it at least ten years before we call him the greatest ever?
Joe maddon one of the most overrated manager in baseball history ! I mean the guy never won a World Series !
2016 Cubs
Who wants to tell this guy? Hahaha!!!! You are a tool!
