  • Melodi Tamarzians talks about her experience with sexual reproductive health rights and abortion at the 2018 edition of TEDxYouth@Maastricht. Melodi is the Youth Ambassador for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) on behalf of the Netherlands. This is a unique function, set up on the initiative of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality. Melodi goes in search of the vision of young people worldwide on themes related to love, sex, reproduction and women's rights and blogs about this at OneWorld. She has always been ambitious to foster youth participation on different levels and contribute to projects mainly focussed on social issues, creating awareness on human rights (violations) and young leadership. Melodi strongly believes in the infinite power of youngsters to make a change for themselves and their communities. I am wondering on her opinion of infant’s choice to live the life before the mother done the abortion? What about the infant choice to live ? Is it matter to you?

I agree.. Its a human baby we're talking bout but then again If the women isn't capable of taking care of the infant after birth, its better to abort instead of making the child's life miserable after birth... It has many cons to it regardless of the fact that a infant does and should have the right to life.

They're not infants, they're embryos and they are not fully developed enough to have a brain to have an opinion
