Just wanted to say, you are probably the only person I've seen that actually truly highlights just how good Samsung's software is on foldables. Every other review I've seen on the Fold 6 complains about the narrow screen, how the pixel fold/oneplus open/chinese foldables are all superior and they completely skip over the software by leaving a lazy remark of "samsung's software is slightly better but... hardware not as good." You actually brought up so many useful features that only Samsung has and why it's still the best experience overall in the foldable world. Needless to say, love the video.

hey bro listen i bought the z-fold 6 and i just love it, absolutely fantastic phone. i just want you to know that your videos convinced me to do it, i've been rocking the xiaomi redmi k20 pro for a while and it was great, showed a bit of age but after watching your videos i knew that i had to get it and man, it lives up to the hype and then some. it rekindled my passion for drawing and reading. and the multi device audio thing is just crazy, not even windows knows how to do that haha. thank you so much for the videos and keep up the great work bro

I had the z fold 6 for a month and returned it due to the narrow screen. I am actually thinking to buy one again as there is a better deal now on samsung website. I am just missing it a lot especially with playing games and watching videos. I had a look at the new pixel pro fold but the design of it feels and looks wierd/cheap with the thick bezel. The z fold 6 feels and looks premium and has the power of snapdragon.
The narrow front screen makes it versatile because it's super nice to hold and store in the pocket . If it was wider it would be like having a chunky candybar phone anyway which I don't like. I loved the iPhone mini too so for me it's perfect to have a small phone that folds over a brick
Samsung, specifically the Z Fold, got such a bad rep this year in the tech community, but its been super annoying see them praise other companies for the same thing they knocked Samsung for. While i love that competition can increase innovation, i hate biased reviews samsung's software has been superb and they have really made their ecosystem so fluid.
It's just so strange how popular it is to hate on Samsung, like they can never do any right in the eyes of the tech "community." And yet, as you've said, other companies get praised for doing things that Samsung gets hated on for, or they get excused for things that were "unacceptable" if Samsung did it. It's also strange that we've come to place where different kinds of foldables are unacceptable (narrow outer screen vs regular phone size outer vs short pixel fold 1/oppo find n2 outer screen size), when slab phones have different sizes and everyone is fine with that. No one yells at people for liking smaller versions of flagships, yet people get pissed that different sized foldables exist and dont believe anyone could like the form factor they dislike lol. Preferences have become objective laws in the tech world. it's crazy.
@@JamaltLee I guess the issue is really that they haven't changed that much over 4 years even tho they can. I respect that choice tho. I would love to stick to samsung having used a fold 3 but I'm getting a used OPO for now and see where it tides me over till (OPO 2 or a larger z fold). I'm keeping my fold3 as a backup. have to vote with your money i do think slabs also pretty much all have the same aspect ratios now. the problem with samsung is that the aspect ratio is kinda off so compatibility is an issue.
Can you hold the space bar to move the cursor while editing in studio? I was having the issue while on the cover screen editing misspelled words while texting or in notes, and found you can control the cursor easier by holding the spacebar.
You can find them on samsungs website or at other stores like amazon/best buy. The S pen pro might not be available in stores anymore so you'll have to buy that second hand.
My thoughts are that it looks amazing in terms of engineering and technological advancement. Its wild that its the same thickness as the fold 6 when both are closed. Hardware aside, though, I really want to know what the software is like. All the videos I've seen so far just gush over the hardware and barely talk about the experience when using the phone. Can it do triple splitscreen? Does it have any unique modes that make use of the hinges? Stuff like that.
Samsung Fold is the best form factor for such device. Complaining so that it be same form factor as a regular smarphone while closed just does not make sense. Why buy fold phone for yourself in the first place. Just buy a regular insted and use it as it is.

@CliffR The fold 6 is slightly better in every way. Lighter, longer battery life, brighter screens, better durability (hopefully) because of the new inner display and hinge, 7 years of software support, slightly bigger cover screen with the same form factor, nicer looking (subjective). The fold 5 is a really good deal right now, though, because of how good it is and how identical the fold 6 is to it.

Not really. For me it’s a better experience than s normal phone when im using it casually. For anything more than scrolling or texting, the big screen is way better. It’s a win win for me minus the cameras.

The cover screen size is ridiculously overblown. I came from a Note 10+ and had no issue.

@12:30 that glitch happens on my Samsung S23 Ultra, so I think it might have something to do with TH-cam in One UI and not necessarily the Fold 6

Yeah using the space bar to move the cursor works, It’s just not my go to method.
