Sounds great!

Thank you so much! Doctor Joe for this video that is made with such love and care. It will be going to a lot of countries and will help a lots of people. Love and light please never stop caring. Thanks again.
You're welcome
Well done Dr. JOE I really appreciate it 🙏❤
My pleasure!
Thank you Dr. Joe. I've been eating sweet potatoes, asparagus, and cooked kale regularly, and occasionally eat Brussel sprouts and okra! I also do smoothie daily with kale, apples, pears, carrots, oats, and pumpkin mix. I think my problem is I like meat! Homemade turkey breakfast sausage, turkey wings, roasted chicken, and wild caught salmon. Does meat raise cholesterol? My cholesterol is borderline so not high but my doc has me on a low dose cholesterol pill for prevention. I do walk, and just started the BP exercises on your you tube channel. I love those exercises! I will see how my cholesterol test reads in May 2023. My doc will probably think it's the low dose pill if it's lower.......
I was enjoying your dietary habit until you mentioned turkey, sausage, chicken etc. There's your problem. Animal foods have saturated fat which raises cholesterol. Cut them out and eat those foods you started your comment with and your cholesterol levels will drop. Simple
DOCTOR JOE AM BUYING EACH AND EVERYONE OF THIES FOOD THIS WEEKEND!! THANK YOU!!

Dr. Joe, I joined the channel last week, first week of 10/2020, and you have some really useful informative tips here that I haven't come across before. Thank you for sharing.
I do try, Gregory. Glad you appreciate what I do offer here. Thank you
Thanks for sharing Dr. Joe. I’m from Trinidad 🇹🇹 and we call okra “ochro” I have a few trees in my garden and I pick and eat it raw. I mostly eat what I plant myself as it’s healthier, fruit, veggies and herbs.
You eat Ochro raw, Juliet? Really? I have never done that. Always cooked for me. Never occurred to me to try it raw
@@drjoetvMD i used to steam it but I eat everything raw that I plant. Just pick and eat. Sometimes when I get a lot, I cut them up and put in the deep freeze. Then I blend in water alone and just drink it. No problem for me.
@@JulietRobin That's great to hear. Keep going, lady. Keep it going
@@drjoetvMD a friend of mine uses raw cut okra/okra in her salad. You can also soak it in water overnight & drink the slimy water 1st in the morning!!
God bless you more abundantly Dr. Joe. These are very important information.

Happy Blessed day! Doc.Joe..I like okra but before i steam it, I remove the buto ( seed) its coz my atrithis..:)) thanks again for your info.God Blessed..
Really? Does your arthritis flare up because of the Okra seeds? That's a new one on me, Daisy. I suppose, if you have established that it does flare it up, then it does. Continue to eat the rest of it then as you're doing

Thank you Dr. for this informative video. I have followed your advise about moringa leaves. And my BP has been reduced. Please tell me how long I have to consume moringa leaves. I have a one more query, please make a video on non alcoholic fatty liver. Thanks.
The way to look at it is this, Sumita. If something is helping you improve your health, would you like to continue using that product or would you rather stop using it? Only you can answer that question for yourself and you can then decide what you want to do with that product. I know which way I will swing but that's me. You may decide differently.
Yes, I shall be doing a video on Non-Alcoholic Liver Disease sometime soon
Wonderful video thank u God bless u n continue educating us

Nice presentation ....😊list of things you gave , is great.
one thing which I want you to clarify is that " is it possible that one having normal cholesterol and HDL, still can have HIGH TRIGLYCERIDES( 337) & VLDL too ?
The things you listed for bad cholesterol are effective for triglyceride too ?
Yes, it is possible to have isolated raised Triglycerides and VLDL. Not often but it does happen
Thank you Doc
You're welcome, Farnet
Africa is really blessed with natural fruits
Very true, FC Barcelona Route
Is eating quinoa equally good to reduce cholesterol in comparison to millets .That was my question .
Thank you so much for replying promptly .May God bless you always for your good work done with unconditional love 😊
It's about eating a variety foods on that list. Not necessarily to zoom in one just one. 22% of the fiber in quinoa is soluble whilst the insoluble makes up the rest 78%. Millet fiber provision is modest. Millet has less soluble fiber than quinoa.
Thank you, Dr. Joe this channel is very interesting. I love it. I am a new subscriber’🙂🙂

Hi Dr. Joe - what are fibrates? Are they better than statins for high cholesterol (hereditary)? Do they have side effects? Thank you for all your excellent information. Bless you.
Fibrates are sister medications to statins. Fibrates are used to target triglycerides usually. They can be prescribed alongside statins to target both triglycerides and cholesterol. Of course, all medications do have side effects even paracetamol. Fibrates are no exception.
Thank you Dr. Joe, everything well said many thanks for your help and information 👍 take care God bless 🙌

Thanks so much for this interesting video Dr Joe
You're welcome
Nice list I must say. Chia seeds also are a good soluble fiber alternative.
Thank you
Thanks I know now how to get my cholesterol down . Thank you
You're welcome
Dr please which of these soluble fibre is not good for an ulcer patient. You are doing a good job. Thanks
Folake, for the most part you can have practically all the foods I talked about here. Unless your ulcer is so bad, in which case you have to avoid acidic foods. From the list, I think citrus fruits are probably the food to avoid for you.
Thanks Dr Joe for sharing in sure to go shopping for these things very interesting information thanks 👋❤stay safe and be bless

Glad I found your channel, your a caring and sharp gentleman. I’m surprised you said okra isn’t as popular because stir fried in some olive oil with some garlic and such is absolutely awesome.
It's not popular doesn't mean it's not a good food. For instance, in the UK where I live millions and millions of people don't know what okra is. That's what I meant by it's not popular. Okra is a fantastic vegetable. In fact, I shall do a video on it specifically about one benefit of okra that people don't about. It's a wonderful food. I love it!
@@drjoetvMD so delicious
@@drjoetvMD sometimes hard to find fresh, most of the time it’s covered in dark spots but sometimes you can find it very fresh. Here in California anyways.
