Do research on ayurvedic medicine for cholesterol it’s herb based no chemicals my cholesterol and triglycerides reduced more than 50% in 6 months no side effects whatsoever
Keep the info coming! As an RN, I have been on Low carb/high fat for five years. The last three has been closer to Keto. My labs are now excellent. Came off po diabetes medication..and off one of two blood pressure meds. Lost weight..and am 67 years old. I am thrilled. Please, keep giving the statistics and what we put into our mouths. Food is medication. I also took myself off statins after a year and feel awesome. A1C dropped from 9.2 to 6. Still working at lowering it further. Thank you so much!! Keep talking! (off all sugar, grains, and junk food. Real food is best).
Debby Ann keep it up Debby!!!! You are on the right path. There are many other Dr that subscribe to The above like Dr William Davis cardiologist (book Wheat Belly) and Dr David Perlmutter neurologist (book-Grain Brain) and Nora Gedgaudus (not a Dr). So Dr Hyman isn’t alone. Word is getting out!!!! I loved their discussion. My primary care Dr actually suggested I listen to him!
I am 69 with a " 0 " CAC score in spite elevated cholesterol ( meaningless LDL-c ) for years. Have resisted statins all these years, and now armed with real science like this, will continue to try to educate my Dr.. Now LCHF, ( no grains ) with no inflammation and BP med going down. Feeling better than I have for twenty years.

I'm 60 ..lowered my A1c no longer pre diabetic and now no longer need blood pressure medication..told the medical practitioners where to stick their statins. My cholesterol went up to 10.5 mmol..they said that I will die..I informed them that nobody gets out alive and that ldl is supposed to be there for protection ..been carnivore since September 2022 feeling fantastic and inflammation gone
Gregory, please explain more because my LDL is high and I don't want to take meds. I can lower it in a month. I believe eating too many egg yolks cause it because there is nothing else in my diet that has the bad cholesterol
I’m 63 been on statins for 20+ years prescribed by my former Doctor of 20+ years despite never having prior heart attacks, strokes, conditions etc. I have inflammation in my body, joints etc I have stopped taking them a week ago and started on KETO 3 weeks ago and the weight is falling off me.
Dr Malhotra is a well known health Hero and Legend in the UK 🇬🇧, a brave and conscientious doctor who will not be swayed by the dollars but insists on exposing the lies and declaring the truth. God bless you Dr Malhotra!! 😊 x
Absolutely informative and in detail. I found your guest Dr Aseem Malhotra very truthful and professional and someone who truly is dedicated to his profession when he says he wants to help his patients. Words alone cannot express how helpful and educational this podcast was for me. I’m a T2D A1C was 8.6 Cholesterol was over 300 my Dr insisted I go on Metformin and statins and Blood Pressure meds even though my blood pressure was just within borderline. I refused to take any meds. After 6months my A1C was 6.3 and cholesterol 2.7 and blood pressure 58/98 . I was 185lbs and now 133lbs and I did it all by myself by changing my diet and exercise and meditation with daily affirmations and gratitude and lots off volunteering to local communities. I wish there’s more Drs like your guest who can help others with being Frank and honest.
Dr Hyman, Dr Malhorta thank you so much for fighting for all of us. This was the most informative videos I’ve seen in a long time. It gives me hope. I wish more doctors would take up the fight and also educate themselves. I’m 67 and I hope I see a change in my lifetime because people are not only getting physically sick but mentally ill!
How refreshing to listen to your conversation how wonderful to know that there are some doctors out there who know the truth and are willing to take a stand for what is right. More power to the both of you.
@@hda300 Wow. Yeah, all medicines are safe or they wouldn't be using them...like the toxic bioweapon jabs that they pushed? I've lost 99.9% of my confidence in the medical establishment, after these past 2-3 years.
Over about 10 years my A1C has gone from near 10% to under 7 as I lowered my carbohydrate consumption. After 6 months of near-carnivore eating it’s 4.9 instead. I was diagnosed a type 1 diabetic in 1970.
When the lockdowns started here in South Africa, I stopped taking my bp and cholesterol meds when it became unavailable for a while. I'm still off it and feel healthier than ever
Bravo. It is so long overdue that the establishment gets up to speed on cholesterol, diets, keto and heart disease. They seem to be so mired on 50 year old data
I just love these doctors. Few doctors seems to actually care about their patients. These doctors actually care about the best treatment options, including the best options: diets and lifestyle. I have Dr Hyman's book, highly recommended.
I learn everything I can...I refuse to take statins..I take vit. K 2, and other good things...thank you for letting people who care about their health know...I am 72, still learning...and want to keep it that way...

Mark another great interview. Both of you have shared with us a fantastic amount of knowledge about what is wrong and ideas of what is needed to change
I haven’t been near a doctor for over 10 years, am a nutritionist and take supplements.. I’m over70… and not a saintly eater, enjoy life, but believe in life and nutrition balance is the answer..
I just got my blood test results - my LDL is 8.4 mmol. I'm also 47 years old. I was so glad to hear that higher cholesterol is better for older people. Thank you!
My paternal grandmother had atherosclerosis in the days before anyone knew anything about cholesterol. She had a heart attack when she was 57 but when on to live to 92. The first time my cholesterol was analyzed, it was 305. I was 35 and pretty fit owing to a lot of walking and cycling. I didn't start taking statins until I had gone through menopause. Then my HDL dropped and my LDL went up, but was never as high as these doctors discuss. After many years on statins, I started having a higher than normal glucose reading and have been taking Metformin, which still causes me to vomit occasionally and often causes nausea in the mornings. I wrote my cardiologist yesterday and asked to stop taking Lipitor for a while in an effort to see what effect it would have on my glucose levels, as well as my muscle strength and the wretched cramps I get in my legs. My cardiologist's office didn't argue with me or try to talk me out of doing this; they just said to keep them posted about whether the side effects abated. No one in my family of origin is diabetic. So it's a bet I'm willing to take at age 82. I have been diagnosed as having atherosclerosis too, like my grandmother. For me, if I can walk back that diabetes thing and be able to walk a city block here in Chicago without panting, it'll be worth the effort. My diet is pretty much the Mediterreanian one. I don't watch my fat and oil consumption on the advice of Jason Fung, and I keep the carbs on the low side but not entirely absent. I am overweight but my weight is stable within a 4-pound range.
Just a few points. Metformin and other anti-diabetic drugs work by restricting sugar absorption from the bowel. So, why not just eat less sugar in the first place? Statins cause protein breakdown, so you can be pretty sure that symptoms like muscles aches etc. are caused by statins. In some cases this protein breakdown has caused sudden and catastrophic liver/kidney failure - this is why you have your liver/kidney function monitored when you're on them Final point, there is no good evidence that a) statins reduce cholesterol b) no evidence that cholesterol causes atherosclerotic disease c) no evidence, not even a statistic correlation that cholesterol, is a risk factor in the over 50s or women. Just avoid processed food, eat a varied fresh meat/vegetable based diet, keep physically active, maintain good social relationships, and do some mentally stimulating activities and you'll be golden. All these things have been proven to improve health & longevity. The only things that these other things improve are food and pharmaceutical industry profits.
If your grandma and now you have atherosclerosis you may have a genetic mutation that causes high Lp(a). No one in my family lives past 70, all died from heart disease and I just found out about Lp(a) last year and got tested, mine is super high. LP(a) is an independent risk factor for heart attack and stroke so I have to be especially careful it’s my diet. If you can get tested, please do so and report back 🙏 Ask for the Lipoprotein A test.
@@plants_and_wellness1574 I am tested regularly. I have a staff of doctors to treat all my ailments! I take a boatload of pills, which I hate. A couple of weeks ago, after waiting for two months, I got a prescription for Ozempic. I have stopped the Metformin, thank god. So far, Ozempic isn't giving me fits at all. I'll be increasing my dose in two weeks, so we'll see at that point whether it does what it is reputed to do. As I said, I would really like to walk back the diabetes thing. I'm hoping that the new drug will help me do that. I also went back on the Lipitor since I didn't notice a bit of difference after not taking it for a month. I've always known I was predisposed to having the genetic component for high cholesterol.
My interpretation of what caused my stroke is - sugar in my tea/coffee, carbohydrates and wine... something not discussed by my doctor. I have completely changed my diet to much less sugar, almost zero carbs and massively reduced alcohol.
Hi. I thank you kindly for this podcast. I believe sugar is absolutely bad for one's health. My mother and grandmother died of cancer, and after studying how sugar can affect the body, I have cut most all of it, and starches and carbohydrates out of my diet. This decision was also due to many chronic stomach and inflammation issues. I started the diet change in February 2018, and imy health has improved dramatically!!!! Thanks, Dr. Hyman!
Both my husband and I have high cholesterol, but have great blood pressure. I watched a friends personality change after high statin drugs for the worse. We chose not to be pressure to go on statins, but focus on a plant base diet. Must have been wisdom from God😉
Good for you for staying away from statins! I highly recommend you check out Dr. Anthony A. Chaffee's videos if you want to experience optimal health. Good bless ❤️.
when I was on statins my muscles were so sore I could hardly get out of bed. Now I take 2 grams of B3, high dose fish oil and bergamot. My cholesterol had gone from 9 to 5.
The trouble with sugar is, as soon as this comes out, a lot of chemicals will replace it. They'll find something to replace sugar every time. As soon as keto came to fruition, out came all the factory-made keto junk. None of which were keto.
One of the most enlightened and enlightening conversations I’ve heard about health. The focus on individuals’ own responsibilities for their health is spot on, as is the disproportionate power of the food industry over our food environment. Keep fighting, gentlemen, you are beginning to be heard!
I agree with getting the message out about food being medicine. Because I was not aware I was purchasing unheathy foods until I got sick and stumbled across people putting the message out there like you. It has changed my life and opened up my eyes.
I have a GP who refuses to believe any of what you're saying...and yes outright discredits your information. And she prescribes pills like their lollies. Out of frustration I started following dr sten Ekberg and have not only lost weight but all my bloods are better and I'm off meds...including antidepressants that I was told I will be on forever. Love you guys for your transparency and intelligence Thank you so much.
I am 53, female. I have had high familial cholesterol since my 30’s. I just tested with HDL 60, LDL 194, and triglycerides 125. I am not overweight, my blood pressure is normal, I do not smoke, I am not a diabetic. The test results have cause my doctor to freak out! I am trying to justify with them to not take statins, and it is difficult. They want low fat, high fiber diet for three months before retest. I have been through this before and my cholesterol did not go down with a low fat diet. So tired of fighting them.
Your levels aren't "bad" & can be "improved". Limit, greatly restrict or remove processed foods, sugar & seed oils from your typically eaten foods. Good fats/proteins are super important. Please, don't take my word for it. Read and study good truth- speaking doctors. Sugars, simple sugars specifically, cause liver inflammation, (non-alcoholic )fatty liver disease, smaller LDLs ('bad' because the small LDLs can be oxidized more easily than 'large/normal' LDLs) pre-diabetes & lots of other harmful physical conditions. Basically, people who go 'keto', plant-based, carnivore, whole-food meat-based, etc, generally get rid of sugar, seed oils & processed foods. Sorry, at first listen or read, this all seems complicated, but you'll get it. Keep at it. The issue is that there's infinite variables; genetics, diet, drugs, lifestyle, etc, so it is incredibly complex. Make small changes & do bloodwork to verify what the changes do, FOR YOU. I'm not the final word, please, read for yourself. Listen to & take in data/info from everyone. Validate with legit studies & good lectures/interviews with referenced facts. Good fats: natural saturated fats (ghee, lard, coconut, etc), mono-unsaturated (omega-9; avocado & cold-pressed ultra olive oil) and naturally-found omega-3 (ALA, EPA, DHA) & omega-6. DHA comes from algae, which is eaten by cold water fish (wild caught sardines, etc). ALA/EPA is found in chia, hemp, flax seeds. non-GMO/grass fed Meat has a good blend of many fats. Sorry, I could go on for days. I have some knowledge, a Nutrition science degree, medical school, years of genetic-lab work, an electrical engineering degree, and years of study, continuing to this day. I read and take data from all sources, then validate what's legit & try to figure out what is the real effect in your own life. Good luck.
I work in the health field & I’ve always been interested in nutrition. After reading your book “Food: What the heck should I eat?” in March I found your website & then your podcasts. First of all, I enjoy them & find them so fascinating. I have been listening to your podcast now for about 6 months. I still find them fascinating but I’m so frustrated by the lack of our government, food industry, & medical doctors acknowledging this information & implementing the things you suggest for the health of all. You always ask your guests if the were king for the day what would they do? If I were king for the day I would put you & your colleagues in charge of the food & health governing bodies in the USA. Maybe then we would see a change! I would also make food education that you espouse mandatory for all. If you don’t know better, you can’t do better. Keep doing what you’re doing. Maybe one day a change will come about. Thanks!
@R C It is actually GREED! Capitalism has reduced poverty across the globe & is not inherently bad. It is the unbridled GREED & lack of empathetic concern for the peoples health & well-being that has brought about the decline in Health & mortality! Our children are predicted to die younger than the previous generations for the first time ever. This is criminal!
Thank you both for being truthful and enlightening us all and for having the courage of your convictions to expose the truth about what is going on between Government, Food Industry and Pharmaceutical companies too. You are an incredible driving force on best natural health and I applaud you for all that you are doing for us all......simply amazing. Thank you once again. Sincerely, Linda Day
I was on a statin for years and stopped about 4 years ago. I definitely believe that a large proportion of common diseases are metabolic in nature and therefore most likely reversed or contained via diet. I also believe that insulin control is a key element in the whole equation however this is difficult to do because it requires dietary changes.

I like his comment, “Good health rarely comes out of a medicine bottle.” Every practicing physician should watch this discussion. Do you think they have the time, integrity and courage to listen?
Best ever Podcast ! Keep it up guys. So good to get some transparency on Industry and politics. Shining lights giving us the honesty and transparency we need to be able make informed choices. That would be nice but unfortunately humans love instant gratification and biologically humans crave sugar and it makes us happy so it's hard to be disciplined enough to focus on the long term effects rather than the immediate joy of sugar cobsumption

Brilliant talk. Love Dr Aseem. So informative & giving people the information on statins is so important so they can make informed decisions on these drugs that GP’s in UK (& elsewhere no doubt) want us to take. Hopefully more healthcare professionals will get on board.
Dr. Hyman and Dr. Malhotra, you are my heroes! This is one of the best episodes I've ever listened to. Thanks for the great work and keep the info coming!
Such an excellent podcast! Thank you, Dr. Hyman, thank you, Dr. Malhotra. Way to go, the grass-root movement already started thanks to your courage, to tell the truth. I love the comment about people making money doing bad things v. good thinks. Amen to that! Without the truth, there is no free market.
Simply excellent. I have forwarded it to several doctors in my family and a few relatives who are on Statins. Personally I have seen the real benefits of changing my lifestyle which includes my food habits and all the other things Dr Malhotra mentioned. So many thanks for sharing your expertise 🙏 Also I admire the honesty and courage of Dr Malhotra🙏🙏 May God bless you both and your dear ones is my sincere prayer.
Thanks once again for introducing more professionals in the industry. Did you know functional medicine is listed as ‘pseudoscientific’ in Wikipedia? It saved my life, reversed diabetes in BIL, reversed heart disease in husband, and very happy I had the resources to get the right help when it mattered. Interesting you talk about Michele Obama and the movie ‘FedUp’. She was not in the final cut, there was an afternote she declined to be interviewed. Love that the Gatorade bottles aren’t filled with that stuff!
Wikipedia is not trustworthy unfortunately. Some FM doctors have tried to improve Wikipedia entry but the changes are repeatedly rolled back.. I then understood who really runs Wikipedia!
Gonna be 62 tomorrow,I am on keto lifestyle since 2022 June LDL,-c is 9 , was on statin mg , tablet, take myself off medication, after starting on keto, feel soooo healthy after more 40 years loses 16kg, started with weight 88,5kg
I really appreciate what Dr. Asseem has to say vis-a-vis Statins. MY cardio doc in Kaiser wanted me on statins. I've been a lifelong trail runner ( going on 50 years now) I'm still running and racing (still place in my age group) trail runs. I'm also heavy 228 lbs but have lost over 50 lbs with surgery and have (recently) gotten past prostate cancer ( radiation and hormone depravation). I'm having great success with vitamin k2, mega dose vitamin C, fish oil etc. . Also - studies on lifelong endurance athletes show increased Coronary calcification ( true for me too) but with increasing cardio respiratory fitness - the risk of bad CV events goes down. From my perspective - my long endruance athlete record trumps the use of statins and there are large scale studies that do show that as well.
Thank you two for the great information on Statins. I have been on them for 1.5 years and in that time have lost 23lbs of muscle (178 to 155 lbs) and have had constant fatigue (I'm 6' 1" tall). My shoulders were so sore I couldn't do any upper body strength training. My fatigue kept me from doing a lot of activities - In the last 6 months, I was sleeping about 15 hours a day. And when I don't exercise, I'm not hungry so I'm caught in a loop. I stopped taking Statins one week ago and feel better already. I also noticed improvement in another effect that has been plaguing me for about 15 years - neuropathy in my feet. My left foot being the worst. Since taking Statins, my left foot on the ball has steadily gone almost completely numb. I am starting to get feeling back in my left foot now and I'm convinced it has to do with being off Statins for a week - I haven't changed anything else diet-wise or physically. I believe this may be attributable for the good things that LDL does for your body. BTW - I have recently had a chemical Stress Test, EKG, and ultra sound, ejection fraction - all came out fine with no problems. I do have a couple of questions though - (1) does a buildup or high LDL level have a direct correlation to calcium buildup in the heart arteries? I had 80% blockage in 2 of my heart arteries and got stents a year and a half ago. I'm not the typical poster boy for clogged arteries as my cholesterol has always been good, never been overweight, always exercise, have a healthy diet, and no family history of heart attacks. My Total cholesterol has always been around 190-200 and HDL around 75-90. I've read where I may have small particle LDL which is more likely to cause artery clogging so that might be the culprit. (2) Will an increase in my LDL have any effect on the blood flow through my stents? Thank you.
Hi. There is no evidence that LDL either has an effect on fatty build up (atheroma) or calcification (arteriosclerosis). The latter is a normal part of the ageing process but accelerated by genes, diabetes and smoking, it's basically a process of oxidisation is occurring over years. If you want to learn more about this topic I suggest you watch some Rhonda Patrick vids. She explains the small particle LDL/oxidation process in detail. But blood flow through your stents won't really be affected by anything you eat in the short term. By the way the reason you are "not the typical poster boy" is because the information we are told about animal fats, cholesterol and heart disease is a complete scientific fallacy - the only probable diet relation to heart disease is sugar consumption via diabetes. This is demonstrable through triglycerides which are directly raised by sugar consumption and known to be a risk factor but funnily enough doctors never mention this.
I’m so grateful for doctors like the two of you. My cholesterol is not what a mainstream doctor would want to see at all. I’m at a heathy weight, Mediterranean low carb diet, exercise everyday, etc. my BP is excellent. So I’ve struggled with my test results, even tho I know and have known for years that the information out there is simply wrong. It’s really difficult to go to a doctor and I haven’t found even one naturopathic md who has room for more patients. Appreciate greatly having this reinforced! I’d also like to add that a well known restaurant show that discusses recipes with cooks showed me how much sugar is added to main course entrees. Sickening!
Yes, people need correct information, truthfully presented. Liars in industry and in government agencies cannot thrive against truth and truthful competitors. Corruption deserves contempt and prosecution; it is truly hateful behavior. Thank you for this good work you are doing.
This guy is a hero. Also I found Dr Hyman to be somewhat aloof and dismissing. Could it be he's operating from a greased palm himself? , I'm starting to wonder. I was warned about statins way back in 99 in nursing school. All of my patients are on them for no reason.
You guys are amazing, thank you. I am concerned about plaques my doctor is saying are in my arteries. She again suggested after my recent lab test( ldl was 7.4 usually 5-5.3), to go back on statins. I refused, but how do I lower ldl back to 5mml??? Enjoyed listening to both of you, Excellent work!!!
I was on statins for a while; long story that I won't get into here. What astounds me is that it was a young salesman at the local vitamin store who told me about CoQ10. No Doctor ever mentioned it, though one did acknowledge that taking the supplements might help when I mentioned it to him.
6 years ago I suffered an MI and have been shovelling 80mg of Atorvastatin down my neck ever since. This has been making me feel like I'd done ten rounds with Mike Tyson every morning and have found this site as a consequence of being in a DIABETES prevention programme since the long term use of high dose Statins is making me pre-diabetic. This pain is about to cease after hearing your talk. Many thanks Doctors, you have truly changed my life!!
I'm on keto diet for 2 months, I lost 7 kilos and 120/88 bp most of the time... before I weigh 78 kg in 5.7 tall frame...my love handle becomes 29 inches.... keto transform my life into a new milestone!!!
Thank you both for spreading the truth! You have so many people behind you supporting you, referencing you and all your valuable information. Thanks for all you do!
Excellent. But... I watched an interview yesterday conducted by Dr. Rhonda Patrick with Dr. Ron Krauss on the subject of cholesterol and CVD in which he stated in several different ways how the science was settled (sound familiar?) in terms of various lipid fractions causing CVD, and how statins were definitely a major component of the solution. Lotsa work to be done before the tide turns.
Thank you,.keep up your great crusade for good health and education for all of us. Please make available a list of integrative functional Doctors like yourself in all states.
Most excellent, informative and quality interview! This covers the broad array of areas needing scrutiny and the resulting integrity and wellness generally that will be more the norm than the exception should their advice become available and adhered to. Much wisdom here’. Thank you!!!
Very informative information, touching on many health issues promoted through healthcare and the current government guidelines. Now I am reluctant to listen to mainstream media and apply some common sense to eating a carnivore diet due to many health issues now resolved.
What an amazing conversation. They mentioned food ads and what is at sporting events and schools....But let’s talk about what is in most US ERs as “snacks” for patients and family members....honey graham crackers, saltines, apple juice cups, or a slab of crap deli meat in between two pieces of white bread. Sugar on sugar on sugar. Wheat on wheat on wheat. Absolutely no fats, and low quality low amount protein. Houston ER nurse here. And I go to work with my soft boiled eggs, sardines and tuna and never ever have the desire to touch that lab made food. True satiation from REAL fats and protein closes the appetite down, powers the mind, doesn’t bloat you or weigh you down and keeps me sharp and not distracted with hunger while I’m working. But these crap “snacks” leave the patients (and other doctors and nurses) hungry and irritable... but these are cheap cheap cheap. Terrible system. Such a shame
Thank you Dr Malhorta and Dr Hyman. I leaned so much from this podcast and Dr Hyman's book. I will now be reading Dr Malhorta's book. What can the viewers do to help spread the word that food is the medicine? I am so disgusted with the prices they charge us to heat organic and healthy.
I love the honesty and perspective of this talk. in the end being king for one day. If people would have access to reliable information on health and than start applying it the medical world and medicine would schrink dramatically. If people have good healthy lifestyle, health would be the normal status of people. Doctor's came because people are sick

One of them saw on the half eaten Mars bars .He picked it up, and asked, what is these and smiled .That was it!
I refuse to go on a statin. I’m so grateful for these kinds of interviews and “the cholesterol myth” book.

Totally agree
Great info! I just stopped taking Rosuvastatin after only two weeks on it!
A prime example of what I like about TH-cam; this particular podcast...thank you, Doctors!
Started Keto in May 2018. A1C in March of 2018 was 7.5. In July, it was 6.6, in October, it was 5.9. LCHF works and can change your life.
Mired in $
Doesn't the Cleveland Clinic believe in Keto, low carbs and positive cholesterol? Can you get a speaker to share with us?
I just love these doctors. Few doctors seems to actually care about their patients. These doctors actually care about the best treatment options, including the best options: diets and lifestyle. I have Dr Hyman's book, highly recommended.
It so nice to hear doctors that actually listen to their patience.
Patients
I learn everything I can...I refuse to take statins..I take vit. K 2, and other good things...thank you for letting people who care about their health know...I am 72, still learning...and want to keep it that way...

You may like talks by Dr Tom Cowan (family physician for 40 years). Out-of-the-box thinking! And very nurturing to the body. He has a channel on Bit Chute (dot) com... his acct here was removed
Thank you!
Yes. To protect against dementia. Nature kicks in to protect us
I love the humility here. Educated humility. It actually allows truth to triumph.
Dr. Fung is great to follow. I assume, then, that you fast?
@@lindawick455 No I don't. Some of the drugs I take didn't take well to fasting. I ended up puking every morning. Not fun. I stopped.
I wish I could thumbs up a billion times! Great interview podcast!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!
Exactly!!!
Never going to happen. Medicine is is now a business and it's driven by mal education. Thy do.not want us educated nor well. No.profit in that

Doctor is confirming my dietary beliefs
I was on a statin for years and stopped about 4 years ago. I definitely believe that a large proportion of common diseases are metabolic in nature and therefore most likely reversed or contained via diet. I also believe that insulin control is a key element in the whole equation however this is difficult to do because it requires dietary changes.

Healed my gut and feeling much better. Keep putting out the information. You are making a difference in many peoples lives. Thank you so much!
Insulin resistance being the elephant in the room we now can now focus on what works, naturally and get a step change in diet and lifestyle.

When consumers realize how much better they feel without sugar, they can drive the marketplace.
That would be nice but unfortunately humans love instant gratification and biologically humans crave sugar and it makes us happy so it's hard to be disciplined enough to focus on the long term effects rather than the immediate joy of sugar cobsumption
Plants are the Most robust food to lower inflammation because they are full of fiber and phytonutrients no one would know better than me because back in 2018 I tested positive for ANA with homogenous titer, which is indicative of SLE LUPUS, I immediately went WFPB with plenty of grains, starches and beans last month they gave me new labs for ANA and a host of autoantibody panels my C-reactive protein an oxidized LDL are excellent I do eat a can of sardines daily with ground bison occasionally my ANA is now negative and all autoantibody and inflammatory panels are negative or either insignificant figures such as

Thank you BOTH Dr. Hyman and Dr. Malhotra for sharing this crucial information.
Thank God for the internet. We have easy access to any info we need. The patient can be smarter or more informed than the Dr. Might save your life.
Thank you both for this beautiful conversation between too beautiful and caring human beings ! God bless ! ❤🙏❤
@@dudeatx Thanks for the information.👍
So grateful to both of you! Wish there were many more like you!!❤
You guys are amazing, thank you.
Exactly

@Dr Aseem Malhotra, I will appreciate your input on familial hypercholesterolemia management using statins. Thank you.
You both speak the truth...and show the corrupt nature of research....thank you! Keep on speaking the truth!!!

I love the honesty and perspective of this talk. in the end being king for one day. If people would have access to reliable information on health and than start applying it the medical world and medicine would schrink dramatically. If people have good healthy lifestyle, health would be the normal status of people. Doctor's came because people are sick
