  • Want to lower your cholesterol as soon as possible? Eat these foods I have assembled for you.
Some of these cholesterol lowering foods are not foods you expect to make the list. But they did based on research and eating them will help you control your cholesterol. These are foods that will help you lower your ldl cholesterol. If you reduce your ldl cholesterol with these foods, you reduce your total cholesterol too.
I also include a couple of foods not to eat to reduce your cholesterol as well. Foods not to eat for cholesterol are just as important as foods to eat for cholesterol.

My total cholesterol and LDL was 257 and 159, respectively. I walked 150 mins weekly to start then more as time went on. In three months, my total cholesterol was 185, and LDL was 99. Did not change my diet. WALK and your cholesterol levels will lower. I go back for lab work in January. Hope my numbers are even lower

Thank you Dr Joe. I’m in the hospital because of my diabetes and you were more helpful and informative than the hospital nutritionist. You are not in the States. The meat industry here has a very powerful, political and dangerous lobby. So powerful that no doctor I’ve seen has the nerve to call out red meat as the danger it represents. Hence, in America diabetes and obesity in not only on the rise. It’s out of control. Thank you for this video. I’ve subscribed turned on notifications AND have shared this particular video with all my family. Please send out the video on walnuts. One of my favorite nuts.

(HUG) I pray God blesses you for your hard work Doctor Joe, you are the best - I am so thankful to God for you! How about GOUT the cherry juice, and what else would you recommend to clear out the uric acid?
You are such an amazing person, with an amazing character, you reveal everything to help people with high blood pressure. Stopping the high purine foods, drinking cherry juice, I'm trying to help my husband, he has high blood pressure & gout, he doesn't drink, smoke or eat red meat (only grass-fed hamburger) had bypass last year, 155lbs, climbs ladders walks 3x wk. for 1/2 hr. pray for him. Loved tour video on blood pressure monitor "anxiety" he has that too!

My total cholesterol was 258. I got it down to 186. I incorporated oatmeal to pull from the blood stream, plant stanols to stop it from entering the blood stream, and 30 minutes 5 days a week cardio to increase HDL. I also try to get no more than 13g of saturated fat on most days. It works just have to keep working it.

Moji, if you have succeeded in lowering your cholesterol levels to the normal range, then there is nothing wrong in having meat every now and again. However if you are still struggling to get those numbers down, then it is best to avoid it. And No, air frying doesn't get rid of the saturated fat in meat is the answer to your 2nd question
