I think that pedal and amp are 2 separate programs, and you get FX when you buy either. So, if you just buy pedal, you'll have fx and whatever amps come as presets, but you won't be able to edit amps.
BIAS Pedal looks great, I've been using BIAS FX for a month or two now and its quite amazing, especially for the price. With all the new add-ons for additional features that Positive Grid is doing it gives you infinite possibilities to achieve the tone you want. For me, I like to keep things simple, and I can get great tones in seconds with BIAS FX.
+Mezurashii5 and next a BIAS cable sim. To really dial in your tone. Bea you're great, I just don't see shelling out another $100 for this if someone's already bought bias amp and bias fx. The options eventually just get overkill and do not really help eventually. No one needs 7 different spots for pre and post EQs everywhere, just too many parameters. But to each their own.
Ti Hammlet BIAS has become too big for the customers' good. They made good stuff but now they're focusing on maximizing their income while their popularity peak lasts instead of fixing their software problems on PC, for example.
Ti Hammlet There are some weird driver issues where the plugin sends completely unprocessed signal along with what it should and you have to block things and stuff. At least that's what people said when I was trying to figure out why it did that for me.
So if you want all the stock amps and pedals, you could get all of that in BIAS FX? Whereas BIAS Amp and BIAS Pedal are for the players that want to customize their tones even further and use tone-match technology?
Software is great these days. I believe the Axe FX and Line 6 Helix are software based too, so theres not really anything stopping a PC programme from matching the performance of those. My favourite software is Scuffham SGear. They have a free demo that is certainly worth trying.
personally for comparison to a real tube amp the helix and axe fx are on another level but for the money and the sheer customisation possibilities bias is pretty special
+J583 hmm the helix is special... they did not wantet to answer that question is some of the vids i saw.. and because there are only 2 way's .. and they said one of the way's is not the way they do it.. the have choosen the other one.. and thats a bit.. brilliant i have to say.. so when i talk about software the helix is only maybe part of it.. hmm yes software is great these day's but there are some limitations due the processing.. hmm.. how to compare them.. the software way is like walking down the road .. and ther is a guy that told you to stop..and he tells you a joke and it's really funny.. so you walk on with a smile in the face.. .. the non software way.. is like walking down the road... and ther is a girl a with bad ass ********* .. you know.. and she drops her key's and goes all the way down.. then she looks up..sees you.. and gives yoiu a smile and a blink.... so the difference is.. you don't had to stop to get exited.. or you could compare it with physics (because im a fan of physics.. and because i write software for my living) you see an apple falling down the tree.. you think that looks awsome, lets messure this all.. so you get all the digital data, the weight, the hight of the tree, the size of the apple and so on... and when all messures are exact make a exact model, put in the messures into the formula and baam you have a dropping apple and every one can watch it.. now they have overcome the problem that the formula and the rebuild is not even close (well but not perfect and it never will be.. because software is math and your resolution can never hit infinity).. they are pritty good in some cases and the sound is awsome... and the best thing is they are consistent.. when you go out to another tree and watch an apple fall it will never looks the same.. the temp and all that stuff can change a bit at each tree you watch.. or each amp you hear.. well and real life has better grafix.. so like a cd can never match a venyl in resolution software can not match a amp.. it's simply impossible.. they get really close and you get value for the money.. like i said they are better in consisstency, are in some way's easyer to handle, dont even have a own size only the size of the electronics you choose to run them.. you can send them, can integrate them into other software.. so in my eyes beautiful for some sorts of music and for every beginner.. well.. and i like them not because.. i can turn my chair left, stand up, walk to steps.. turn around.. sit down.. turn left decide wich instrument.. turn left again and turn the switch depending on the instrument... .. if i need distortion.. i stomp with my foot.. if i need a delay.. i stomp again... if i need a little wahwah.. i set my foot and make.. wah wah.... thats fucking simple and i hate it when my hands have to do stuff when i want then to play the guitar well.. and there are other things.. i have for example a gibson les paul pro 1980 and a VOX AC/30 1974, ibanez tube screamer and dunlop wahwah around same time... and when you dream as little child abought a frrari 250 GTO because your hero had one.. you dont wan't a iphone in ferrari red instead well becasue bea is now a hero too.. i think about a ml-1 pro and a kraken.. and a close look at strymon.. but i also thought about a duesenberg starplayer TV+ (the version with piezzo) and now i can't decide T_T
Rabelais, your vids are getting, better, but can you please mic yourself up, as the camera mic sounds terrible. Even if it's a cheap lab into a phone, it would greatly improve the vids. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Very cool! I might be a little bit different but if I had this I would prefer BIAS to do all of the work for me and give me say 20 overdrive pedal settings/pedals that sound the best and are useful, instead of me doing the work and finding a good tone. It's personalized I get it but I'm just assuming that there are a lot of settings and tones that aren't useful at all. Maybe I'm wrong! Thanks & love your good work!!
Hello Rabea, What's the signal chain? I've used the Bias FX demo, but it sounded like a donkey fart. My signal chain was guitar -> Apogee Jam 96K -> Garageband with Bias -> Headphones (just ordinary Sennheiser). Your demo sounded great!

Can you check out Bias Pedal Delay pack? I curious about the new Delay version but there's only one video on TH-cam about it. Also curious to see if Positive Grid is going to release a hardware version of the Bias Pedal delay pack, like they did with the Bias Distortion pedal that goes with this software.

As primarily a keyboard player for 40 years, I thought I'd get back into guitar to get away from endless patch tweaking and preset options of my synths, you know get back into the simplicity of just writing and playing music, but with todays technology and apps like this I could see spending endless hours tweaking guitar amps and fx as well .. maybe I'll just stick with my old Martin acoustic 🙄 Btw great chops and cool video 👍

Amos Kamil yeah all the bias software integrates with each other. You can make an amp in bias, a pedal in bias pedal and use all your gear in bias fx
