After having this program for a few weeks now I realize it's by far the best amp sim on the market. I was beta testing it back in January but didn't realize what it was capable of back then. Considering using for my live rig with pod HD as an interface and midi controller now.

@@shaynestilllife That's awesome dude! I'm not quite sure what's the best route though. I use my OBS streamlabs to record it (don't ask me why :P) It seems to do the trick. I then record my audio in my daw and sync it later (which might be unnecessary). One tip though, It's important to make sure your screen capture is in the same sample rate as your daw. I made that mistake once :P
Hey, I don't play metal or listen to it, but I enjoyed your review very much. You have a great presentation personality. You touched on the cool feature of the looper that most people don't mention - that you can record a loop and tweak your rig against it - with no guitar. It's actually recorded completely clean, so you can apply any effect or profile against it without even picking up your guitar again.
At first I didn't hear a difference from bias fx 2 and bias fx because I had the bias amp 2 inside bias fx already. Because of this video I started messing with bias fx 2 again and have to say it's really great. I used some Celestion IRs different from the one you can buy from positive grid and they really were the game changer for me. Getting tones as good as Fortin Neural DSP now but more versatility that the one trick pony Fortin is for djent.

Geez, nicely done, even though this one's old. So, this was the standalone app. I always wondered how the latency wa s on apps like this. Seemed like it was responding to your input quickly, love to know how the feel was though.
I used a Roland keyboard amp for guitar, apparently keyboard amps are Full range, they have a bass and tweeter to be able to play all the notes on an 88 key, it does sound very cool.

How are you doing Gerrett? I bought the Bias fx2 ultimate package, had a few issues getting it to run smoothly. Also picked up a couple headrush frfr sounds amazing. My question to you is I loose my touch screen with the desktop and was wondering what differences between the ios ipad top version (I forgot the package name) with amps and effects would I lose? HELP troubleshoot... I have the RIFF and BiasFX2 elite desktop version, and I am not getting tones anything like this on the output. I have tried running a cord to my guitar amp (sounds horrible, hissing, delayed, not like whats being played), i have also tried the headphone and sounds horrible too. The amp works fine with my line 6 pod,... ive narrowed my trouble down to an OUTPUT issue of some sort ... Your video is the BEST i have seen. What do you output your RIFF to ? I am considering buy a new cab/amp/PA/studio monitor etc... as long as it will work with this APP to sound like your rig!
For those who has not discovered it yet, you can if you have a fast computer open up at least four different rigs at the same time by open yet another and another and another and another bias FX2 and you can then change and modify each one of them from the same default to four different, you can then save them with a specific naming to use in different combinations, "Kalsson bass1 Karlsson Bass2 Karlsson Bass3 e.t.c e.t.c and combine later with somthing other saved so it may be " Karlsson bass1 Karlsson acoustic3 for example"(test your limit )and by regulating main volume on each get sounds you can not imagine. I have not read about anyone using this option.

What is actually outputting the sound in your room? The Marshall cabinet? The monitors on your desk? I understand the software and how it records so clean, but I'm confused about actually using this to play in a room / event. What do I use for the output? Any info would be greatly appreciated. In my room I I hear it coming out of my monitors. (computer>interface>monitors). But for the video I recorded all the audio and exported it so you can hear it at the highest quality.
For days I was looking at Amplitube and Guitar Rig but luckily I came across this video, watched like 5 secs, went on Google and searched for BIAS FX 2 and surprise surprise there's a 60% discount today on black Friday, I bought it without hesitation 🤣... Now I'm back in the video to finish watching it...

Still use BFX2 with Bias Pedal, and the metal pack and I absolutely love it. Even though it crashes Ableton occasionally lol. So much diversity

@@Preston_M. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that's BiasFX 1 on the mobile and isn't compatible with FX2 yet? I could be wrong though.

HELP troubleshoot... I have the RIFF and BiasFX2 elite desktop version, and I am not getting tones anything like this on the output.
I have tried running a cord to my guitar amp (sounds horrible, hissing, delayed, not like whats being played), i have also tried the headphone and sounds horrible too.
The amp works fine with my line 6 pod,... ive narrowed my trouble down to an OUTPUT issue of some sort ...

What do you output your RIFF to ? I am considering buy a new cab/amp/PA/studio monitor etc... as long as it will work with this APP to sound like your rig!

For those who has not discovered it yet, you can if you have a fast computer open up at least four different rigs at the same time by open yet another and another and another and another bias FX2 and you can then change and modify each one of them from the same default to four different, you can then save them with a specific naming to use in different combinations, "Kalsson bass1 Karlsson Bass2 Karlsson Bass3 e.t.c e.t.c and combine later with somthing other saved so it may be " Karlsson bass1 Karlsson acoustic3 for example"(test your limit )and by regulating main volume on each get sounds you can not imagine. I have not read about anyone using this option.

FYI: Elite versions DOES NOT include metal pack, bass pack and a lot of other more. If you bought mobile BIAS FX 2 you WON'T get desktop version or any discount for it.

Thanks man! I use it as a plugin, with a Motu Ultralite mk3. I run the buffer size down to 64 samples to get minimum latency

Great job on the video work and explaining everything. Just a quick question. Do you have to hook up a guitar to test the rig I setup? The benefit is that I can just bring my iPad and use Bias FX to create my rig and hear it without lugging around a guitar. Thanks!

What is actually outputting the sound in your room? The Marshall cabinet? The monitors on your desk? I understand the software and how it records so clean, but I'm confused about actually using this to play in a room / event. What do I use for the output? Any info would be greatly appreciated. In my room I I hear it coming out of my monitors. (computer>interface>monitors). But for the video I recorded all the audio and exported it so you can hear it at the highest quality.
For days I was looking at Amplitube and Guitar Rig but luckily I came across this video, watched like 5 secs, went on Google and searched for BIAS FX 2 and surprise surprise there's a 60% discount today on black Friday, I bought it without hesitation 🤣... Now I'm back in the video to finish watching it...
I just did the same thing! I'm in the process of moving right now though and my computer is packed away. I cannot wait to get it set back up and start messing around with this.
