I see there is this one amongst us in the comments section who is good for nothing but ridicule and spreading negative general comments.
We are sadly not in a state where we are all Sheikhs of Quran and Hadith or Seerah and thus we should take the good and leave the bad.
We need to seek Allah's refuge for the right guidance and the right knowledge instead of defecating in the comments against someone else's efforts where it's apparent the basic niyaah is good.
May Allah all of us guidance and success and save us from being "kharijites"

Hatem At-Tai (rhe legendary generous Arab from Ta'if) died before accepting Islam. His ( 'Addie Ibn Hatem) son becomes chieftain and flees to Rome after conquest of Makkah at that time.
Later accepted Islam and one of the oldest of sahaba. he lived for 120 years.

Ka'b ibn Zuhayr (son of Zuhayr ibn abi Salma, a poet .... his poem was from the seven poems against prophet Muhammad (saw) before conquest of Makkah). However, he was forgiven when he accepted Islam.
He wrote a beautiful poem which is in the original Burdah (Burdah means cloak).
    There are two Burdah:-
    1. Original Burdah (by Ka'b ibn Zuhayr) because it is based one classical Arabic poetry which usually starts with a romantic metaphor. Prophet saw took off his cloak as appraise and honoring Ka'b ibn Zuhayr poetry.
    2. 2nd Burdah is more famous in these days which was written in the 7th century.

    Episode 84 & 86
I will repost this on EP 86
The Events Between Siege of Taif and Battle of Tabuk
After the Siege of Taif, the Prophet SAW began installing Muslim leaders and governors in provinces around Arabia, as well as sending out teachers, to teach the new Muslims about Islam.
    - The Conversion of Ka’b Ibn Zuhayr RA
Ka’b Ibn Zuhayr was one of the most famous poets in Arabia in the lifetime of the Prophet SAW. Ka’bs father was one of the authors of the 7 Muallaqat. Ka’b was opposed to Islam and would mock Islam. This mockery only increased after his own brother became a Muslim and he even went to the extremes of slandering Muslim women in his poems. Due to this, everyone knew that Ka’b would not be forgiven. After the Conquest of Makkah, Ka’b was sent a letter by his brother to accept Islam or leave Arabia because he would be killed. Ka’b upon receiving the letter and realising his situation decided to contemplate on Islam.
Eventually, Ka’b decided to embrace Islam and thus he travelled to Makkah and took his Shahadah at the hands of the Prophet SAW. After his conversion, Ka’b RA composed a poem for the Prophet SAW and this poem moved the Prophet SAW so much that, he gave Ka’b RA his own cloak. The Prophet SAW then told Ka’b RA to atone for his past by praising the Ansar in his poems. After this, Ka’b RA lived a very righteous life.
    - Expeditions
The Prophet SAW began conquering smaller tribes in Arabia and then also sent out expeditions all around Arabia in order to remove polytheism from the peninsular. Some of the most notable expeditions were:
    1. The Expedition of At Tufail Ibn Amr RA in Yemen to destroy the idol of Yaguth.
    2. The Expedition of Jarir Ibn Abdullah Al Bajali RA to destroy the idol of Dhul Khalasa in Yemen and to destroy the Yemeni Kabah.
    3. The Expedition of Ali Ibn Talib RA to Banu Tayy, to destroy their idol Al Qullus. Shortly after this, their chief Adi Ibn Hatim RA became Muslim.
Important Events in the Life of the Prophet SAW in 8 AH:
    - A Marriage & a divorce: Fatimah Bint Dhak RA, also known as Bint Al Jawan, (She has many names) married the Prophet SAW and she was divorced by him on their wedding night. The marriage wasn’t consummated. She was divorced because she viewed herself to be of a high status. Although there are numerous theories on why she was divorced.
    - Death of Zaynab Bint Muhammad RA: Zaynab RA died from the long term injuries caused to her, during her Hijrah, by Al Habir Ibn Al Aswad RA after he caused her camel panic. Zaynab RA suffered for years until she died in 8 AH. She was the second daughter of the Prophet SAW to pass away.
    - A Birth: Ibrahim RA son of Prophet SAW was born in 8 AH. But dies in 10 AH.
    ==========================================================
Disclaimer for my Notes of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Series:
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series.
Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it.
You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes.
One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah.
Please keep me in your Duas and ask Allah SWT to forgive all our sins during this blessed month and beyond! Ameen

I don't think people don't marry divorcees because they think it means they are bad. I think people just want to be the only person in someone's life. The sahaba's (ra) culture was different. People died often and polygamy was more common.
Obviously it is halal to marry divorcees but there are obvious reasons that people don't want to.

I like to believe that good people, who believe in one god in one way or the other but aren't muslims, do get to heaven. The prophet always avoids giving a direct answer to those type of questions, never was it a direct no, never was it a yes. A reason could be that it would be contra-productive for him to admit that some exceptions do get to heaven without islam, as he is establishing a new regiment and needs everyone to be fully on one side, without thinking "oh, i can get rewarded without siding with the muslims" type of thing. It would really be unjust in my opinon as i see many muslims who truly believe but still do more wrong than every other decent christian or whatever. But allah knows best. My point is just that the prophet muhammed pbuh did keep certain truths hidden for good reasons and this might just be another one that was never revealed as there are some indications. I hope i'm not spoiling it if that happens to be the truth...

    • @salmanmemon1000
      @salmanmemon1000 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

+Taki Eddin The prophet (pbuh) didn't answer directly because it's from his wisdom. Imagine if someone told you that your Father is in the fire. He still made it clear by saying that his father got what he desired and that certainly wasn't paradise.

I also used to be tempted to think in that direction and at times still am then I reconcile as follows:
      1. Allah's Promise is Haaq...Truth.
      2. Abu Talib & Muttim ibn Adi...best of non Muslims still in Hell :(
      3. We feel this way because we underestimate the magnitude of Shirk. The One in Who's Hands is our soul Preserves us with so much Rahma and also for His identity as the Only One worthy of worship must be worshipped and perfectly worshipped at that. To deny or associate partners with Someone like This is Shirk as we know it...but perhaps we do not how dangerous and massive Shirk is because we fail to grasp how worthy Allah is of worship by his attributes alone and what to speak of the everyday and cosmic blessings He gives us. So Shirk outweighs any worldy good a human can possibly do and we seek Allah refuge from His Anger.
      4. Allah's infinite justice...who knows how He might perhaps give them a chance even in their dying moments where we would know nothing of their interactions before they leave this realm.
      5. My Allah's Mercy is greater even than my Allah's Anger and He Makes the rules always... so there is always more hope than despair SubhanAllah :)
I hope these help you reason better with this dilemma as it does for me.
