  • From the splitting of the moon in the skies to the parting of the sea on earth the Prophets of Allāh (subḥānahu wa ta'āla) have been gifted with fascinating miracles to prove that they have been sent by Allāh (subḥānahu wa ta'āla) as a warner & guide to mankind.
In this special episode, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi takes a break from the Seerah of our Prophet (ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam), and discusses some of the magnificent miracles of Prophet Muhammad (ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) that till this day leaves people in awe and amazement!
Our books of tradition record over a thousand such examples; this lecture categorizes dozens of them in ten specific categories.

AlHumdulillah I have read / studied around 20 versions of the Sirah of The Prophet(pbuh) ranging from Ibn Kathir, ibn Hisham to modern Sirah from various notable authors ...but this series trumps all of them in terms of detail and comprehensive analysis of events in the Prophet’s life ...it’s full of “pearls of wisdom” and precise analytical assessment of events etc ...I would highly recommend this series to both new and cradle Muslims alike it is a wonderful series by this esteemed Sheik ... jazakallah and may Allah grant him a 1000 blessings for each episode ...

Well Yasir Qadhi read all those Sirahs and hadiths related to seerahs and ibne ishaq seera and combines all of them to explain us seerah he takes his info from there he doesn’t come up with his own theories , unless there is grey area and room for theories.

Splitting of the moon was seen by a king for Kerala......called cheraman perumal from Thrissur........and he went along with Malik ibn Dinar Ra to meet our prophet saw......and accepted Islam and died while returning back and was buried in salalah, Oman.......and this incident was confirmed by Abu Saeed Al khudri Ra when he was with the prophet saw that we saw a man from hind who came and he accepted Islam and prophet saws informed his sahabas about the king of India and his place that was known for spices and that king presented our prophet with garlic pickle where our prophet saw distributed it to all sahabas and Abu Saeed Al khudri Ra himself ate it......and the name of king was changed to tajudin (king of Deen).....through him Malik Ra was able to propogate Islam in india.......and first masjid in India was the cheramanperumal masjid of kodungallur, Thrissur,Kerala...

He quenched the thirst of thousands of his soldiers during the Battle of Tabouk and enabled them to use water for ablution after causing water to pour forth. He caused two trees to move at his command. He caused a well to swell with water after he rinsed his mouth with some water and then threw it out into the well

    Episode 85 Notes:
Miracles of the Prophet Muhammad SAW
    - How Many Miracles Did the Prophet Muhammad SAW Perform?
There have been entire books written about the Miracles of the Prophet SAW. Hafiz Ibn Hajar RH stated that, the Prophet SAW performed more than 1200 authenticated miracle. Most of the miracles that the Prophet SAW performed, were only in front of the Sahabah RA. But, there were miracles performed in front of Non-Muslims.
The miracles of the Prophet SAW can be split into many categories. Below are 10 categories with several notable miracles under each category:
    1. Miracles Involving Inanimate Objects:
Prior to prophethood, the Prophet SAW would be given “Salaam” by a stone, each time he walked past it in Makkah. Another example is when Ibn Masud RA witnessed the food of the Prophet SAW stating “Subhan Allah” as it was entering his mouth. Abu Dhar Al Gifari RA witnessed the Prophet SAW, pick up stones that were praising Allah SWT and then pass them around to his companions RA. However, once the Prophet SAW left that gathering, the stones became docile. The best example of this category, is the miracle of the sobbing stump tree in the Masjid of the Prophet SAW in Medina. The Masjid was full of 1000 sahabah RA, when they heard the stump weeping after it had been replaced as a the Minbar of the Prophet SAW.
    2. Miracles Involving Animals:
The most famous example of this is when the shank of a lamb spoke to him after the Battle of Khaybar, warning him that it had been poisoned by one of the bitter Yahudi women. Another example is when a camel approached the Prophet SAW and complained that, it had been beaten, overworked and poorly fed by one of the Sahabah RA. Another example is when a camel had gone mad and the Prophet SAW approached it and it upon seeing him, lowered its head and calmed down. A lesser known example is when a camel came running into the Masjid during a Khutbah of the Prophet SAW and rested its head on his lap. It then informed him that, its owners had overworked it and now wanted to slaughter it, since it was of no more use to them. The Prophet SAW then purchased the camel from the owners.
    3. Miracles Involving Food and Water:
There are many examples of this particular category throughout the Seerah, where the Prophet SAW has fed scores of people with only a small amount of food. The feeding of 1400 solders at Khandaq from a small goat is a notable example of this.
    4. Protection of Allah SWT:
Numerous times, Allah SWT has protected the life of the Prophet SAW. The most famous example is when the Prophet SAW was praying and Abu Jahal tried to kill him. Other examples include the Battle of Badr and Khandaq where small armies have annihilated enemies that, were triple their size. Another is the Angels coming to the several battles in order to directly fight or protect the Prophet SAW.
    5. The Prophet SAW Having Partial Knowledge of the Unseen:
There are two types of unseen knowledge. The first is ultimate knowledge of the unseen which only belongs to Allah SWT. The second is partial knowledge of the unseen which is granted by Allah SWT to his Prophets AS. The most prominent example of this would be when the Prophet SAW spoke to Allah SWT. Another is when the Prophet SAW witnessed Angels, Jinn, Jannah and Jahannam. Others would be when the Prophet SAW was aware of the deaths of Najashi RA and Khosrow II. A famous one would be when the Prophet SAW provided live updates for the Battle of Mu’tah, whilst it was ongoing hundreds of miles away.
    6. Predictions of the Future:
The Prophet SAW made over 150 predictions that came true. In Makkah the Prophet SAW during his persecution, predicted the conquest of Arabia. In Medina during the Battle of Khandaq as the Muslims were surrounded, the Prophet SAW predicted the conquests of Yemen, Hind, Constantinople, Bosra, Sham, Jerusalem, Egypt and Persia by the Muslims. The Prophet SAW predicted that the Muslims would go to war on ships in the future and that Umme Sulaym RA would die amongst them. A lesser known prediction is when the Prophet SAW, predicted Abdullah Ibn Busr RA would live a 100 years before he dies. This came true and Abdullah RA passed away whilst doing Wudhu.
    7. The Healing of the Prophet SAW
The Prophet SAW healed many of his companions RA, by the permission of Allah SWT. This included Qatada RA whose eye was hit by an arrow, during the Battle of Uhud. The Prophet SAW did dua and his eye healed and was better than before. Ali RA who had eye problems and was healed by spit of the Prophet SAW during the Battle of Khaybar. Another example of this is when a boy who was born deaf, dumb and paralysed, was healed after the Prophet SAW did dua for him.
    8. Allah SWT Immediately Accepting the Dua’s of the Prophet SAW
Once Medina was undergoing a drought, a man interrupted the Khutbah of the Prophet SAW and requested a dua for rainfall. The Prophet SAW began the dua and before his hands had finished the dua, the rain began falling. In fact it fell hard for 1 week before another man interrupted another Khutbah of the Prophet SAW requesting he do another dua asking for the rain to stop. The Prophet SAW did this and the clouds departed from Medina. Another example of this is the conversion of Abu Hurairah’s RA mother. She was a pagan who hated Islam and cursed it. This caused Abu Hurairah RA to cry and he asked the Prophet SAW to do dua she is guided. When Abu Hurairah RA left masjid and went home, his mom told him that she is taking her ghusl and then testified her Shahadah.
    9. Stories of the Prophets AS
The Prophet SAW’s knowledge of past Jewish and Biblical Prophets is itself a miracle. This is because the Arabs at the time were uneducated and thus would not have known the histories of Non-Arab civilizations. The Bible itself had not been translated into Arabic during the lifetime of the Prophet SAW and most Arabs could not read or write. The Arabs knew nothing about Musa AS or Adam AS or Hawwa AS. Furthermore, the Qur’an itself contains stories about past Prophets AS, which are not found in the Torah or Bible. An example of such a story would be how Isa AS spoke as a baby and how he blew life into birds. However, 150 years ago these stories were found to exist in the Gospel of St Thomas, who was a monk from a Christian sect, in the 4th Century. Prior to the finding of this non canonical gospel, the Christians never knew of such stories about Isa AS.
    10. Miscellaneous Miracles That Do Not fall Into the Prior 9 Categories
The biggest example of this would be splitting of the moon in half, at the challenge of the Quraysh, which occurred in the early Makkan period. The Quran is explicit about this event and so are many hadiths. This miracle is viewed as one of the greatest miracles that the Prophet SAW performed. Another type of unique miracle is the Qur’an itself which, is the only miracle we can interact with today. It unlike all other miracles, is also meant for all of humanity and wasn’t for the eyes of a specific audience.
Another type of miracle, would be the miracles that occurred during the life of the Prophet SAW but, were only meant for him. Al Isra Wal Miraj is one such example.
    Slavery in Islam:
Islamic slavery is not like modern slavery and the worst type of historical slavery was that of American. Slavery was rampant around the globe for the majority of recorded human history and Islam was the first to institute regulations for this practice:
    - Slaves could only become slaves if they are taken as POWs from a legitimate war when no one has paid their ransom.
    - Slaves were given rights in Islam and there are numerous Hadiths stating how they should be treated humanely and fed well.
    - Islam allowed many avenues for slaves to be released and even encouraged doing so.
    - The Islamic shariah doesn’t require slavery to function meaning the practice doesn’t need to be brought back.
    - From 1870s. slavery was abolished in Muslim lands and no mainstream Muslim scholar alive is petition for it to be reinstituted.
    Sex with female slaves:
Muslim men were permitted to have consensual intercourse with a female slave. This itself had many rulings and it was regulated:
    - Any child born from a female slave would be treated equal to a child born from a free woman. Ismail AS and Is’haq AS are the best examples of this.
    - Prostituting slaves was completely forbidden, unlike like many other cultures at the time.
    - The majority of the Islamic Caliphs were born from female slaves.
    - Female slaves can be sold. But, if you have a child with one then she can never be sold and is automatically freed upon her masters death.
Fun Trivia fact: Mujizat means miracle in Arabic.
Fun Trivia fact: Every Prophet AS had miracles.
Fun Trivia fact: Everything in the universe is praising Allah SWT. But, we just do not hear it.
Fun Trivia fact: Walimah doesn’t just refer to a wedding feast. But, it can also refer to any type of feast in general.
Fun Trivia fact: The Prophet SAW was told by Allah SWT in the Qur’an, to tell the people that, he does not know ultimate knowledge of the unseen.
Fun Trivia fact: Muawiyah RA created the first naval force of the Muslims. This was a prophecy of the Prophet SAW that was fulfilled.
Fun Trivia fact: The Prophet SAW only fulfilled a few miracles that the Quraysh specifically demanded. The Splitting of the Moon is one of them.
Fun Trivia fact: The Messiah brings the Israelite chain of Prophets AS to an end. The Prophet SAW brings the entire chain of Prophets AS to an end.
Fun Trivia fact: Ibn Hazam RH stated that, the entire life of the Prophet SAW is miracle.
Fun Trivia fact: The mother of Anas Ibn Malik RA, Umm Sulaym RA died in Cyprus and she was buried there. The first Masjid in Cyprus called Hala Sultan Tekke, was built on her tomb.

And if their evasion is difficult for you then if you are able to seek a tunnel into the earth or a stairway into the sky to bring them a Miracle. But if God had willed He would have united them upon guidance So never be of the ignorant
      &
      They say,
"We will not believe you until you break open for us from the ground a spring
      OR
you have a garden of palm tress and grapes and make rivers gush forth within them in force
      OR
You make the heaven fall upon us in fragments as you have claimed or you bring God and the angels before
      OR
You have a house of gold or you ascend into the sky. And we will not believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book we may read."

Salaam to all my sister and brothers in Islam, we have to stop this Tit for a Tat, with people who leave nasty comments. One of the best things I have learned is "LIONS DO NOT BARK BACK AT DOGS". There are those who have misconceptions about Islam but are willing to learn and find the truth. Some of our great scholars in the west today were Muslim haters who wanted to find out what Islam is all about, Yusuf Estes comes to mind. Then there are those who feel the need to comment on everything because that is how they feel important, instead of getting into a war of words with them we should thank Allaah that we are not that desperate where we need to put others down especially a MAN (Allaah's peace and blessings be upon him) 1400+ years ago. It is like when Trump says he is a better than Lincoln was as a President!!!!

For no tongue or lips that the prophet sucked on will be tormented (by hell fire)?
If this is not fucked up, and gay as hell, than wft is. Is this what u believe in? (there are so many hadith, i just got bored reading them all). This is your cult? Homosexuality is punished hars in your cult, but what did mohamed do? a homosexual act. Or this is not homosexuality?

isztom the proof is quite simple. you can look at it from two ways brother/sister. by deduction, or by textual fact. so lets look at deducing it. if there were two gods, would not the earth be thought over by the two gods for supremacy over one another? and many questions stem from this such as: well then who created us from the two, who can first and so on. its just way too confusing and to be frank, doesn't really make much sense where as one supreme being, does.
textual reference: well here is Allah explaining to you, clarifying this matter. (and when we read the quran, the etiquette is to see it as allah is talking directly to the reader, this is how it was sent, not just to the general people "go do this, don't do that" and so on, islam is for the individual) so here it is:
"No son did God beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to God! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! (The Noble Quran, 23:91-92)"
"Say: If there had been (other) gods with Him, as they say,- behold, they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne! Glory to Him! He is high above all that they say!- Exalted and Great (beyond measure)! (The Noble Quran, 17:42-43)"
"If there were, in the heavens and the earth, other gods besides God, there would have been confusion in both! but glory to God, the Lord of the Throne: (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! (The Noble Quran, 21:22)"

Kahan Bodur It imakes me smile how narrow your imagination is. 1. qouting from a book, that is far from being perfect, or the word of any god. 2. the incapacity to overlook the hiararchic and savage state of humans in general- reflected onto gods. For start you should watch the K-pax movie. 101 for opening your mind. Just because all of your life everybody said that allah is the one that does not make it right, just like in the 15th centurie everybody thought that eart was flat, including 7th century mohamed, who thought the sun sets in a pool of mud.

    • @descendrion3582
      @descendrion3582 9 ปีที่แล้ว

Doyle دويل why rome though, it makes sense to be Istanbul. rome has nothing to do with anything, theologically or geograhically to islam or the mahdi. although I'm guessing they mean they conquer rome when mahdi comes, i don't know, allahu a'lam.

    • @NaeemIbnYusuf
      @NaeemIbnYusuf 7 ปีที่แล้ว

There are ahadeeth that specifically mention "Constantinople" being conquered. There are some that also specifically mention "Rome" being conquered. Incidentally, it should be kept in mind that Constantinople was part of Rome. Many Scholars also state that the conquest of Constantinople may occur more than once (as is the case with many of the Signs of the Hour) as some ahadeeth confirm a conquest of Constantinople just prior to the emergence of Dajjal.

    • @NotStraightCat
      @NotStraightCat 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

For centuries, "Romans" was the name given to all Byzantins (also in the Quran al-karim) & Westerners by Muslims in Orient. Also, after the schism, Constantinople wasn't part of Rome anymore. We can make multiple hypothesis : after the fall of the Ottoman Khalifa, which can be read as the leaving of Islamic laws in Turkey, the conquest of Constantinople can be the return of ruling according to the shariaa. Or if it's Rome, as the present heart of Catholicism, maybe the fall and the conversion of the ecclesiastic elites. There's an important mass of Italians right now becoming Muslims mashaalah taala.

    • @NaeemIbnYusuf
      @NaeemIbnYusuf 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Allah knows best!
One of the ahadeeth that specifically mentions both "Rome" and "Constantinople" specifically is as follows:
Abu Huraira (radiyAllah anh) reported Allah's Messenger (salAllah 'alayhi wa sallam) as saying:
The Last Hour would not come until the Romans would land at al-A'maq or in Dabiq. An army consisting of the best (soldiers) of the people of the earth at that time will come from Medina (to counteract them). When they will arrange themselves in ranks, the Romans would say: Do not stand between us and those (Muslims) who took prisoners from amongst us. Let us fight with them; and the Muslims would say: Nay, by Allah, we would never get aside from you and from our brethren that you may fight them. They will then fight and a third (part) of the army would run away, whom Allah will never forgive. A third (part of the army) which would be constituted of excellent martyrs in Allah's eye, would be killed and the third who would never be put to trial would win and they would be conquerors of Constantinople. And as they would be busy in distributing the spoils of war (amongst themselves) after hanging their swords by the olive trees, the Satan would cry: The Dajjal has taken your place among your family. They would then come out, but it would be of no avail. And when they would come to Shaam, he would come out while they would be still preparing themselves for battle drawing up the ranks. Certainly, the time of prayer shall come and then Jesus (alayhis salaam) son of Mary would descend and would lead them in prayer. When the enemy of Allah would see him, it would (disappear) just as the salt dissolves itself in water and if he (i.e. Jesus, alayhis salaam) were not to confront them at all, even then it would dissolve completely, but Allah would kill them by his hand and he would show them their blood on his lance (the lance of Jesus Christ)

I think it was mentioned that the prophet(PBUH) wanted Abu Talib to accept Islam. In addition to this, it is clearly stated in the Quran that Guiding someone is only by the will of Allah, even after the Dua, if Allah had willed, Hazrat Abu Hurairah’s mother couldn’t have accepted Islam. It was only by Allah’s will that she accepted Islam.

Lol. Here are the miracles mentioned in Quran.
      A.splitting of moon
      Al-Qamar 54:1-2
      (1) The Hour has come near, and the (2) moon has been split [in two].
And if they see a sign [i.e., miracle], they turn away and say, "Passing magic."
      B. Prediction of the victory of Romans has their devastating defeat.
      Ar-Rum 30:2-4
(2)The Byzantines have been defeated (3)In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome (4) Within few years. To Allah belongs the command [i.e., decree] before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice.
      C. Predicted the defeat of meccans
      Al-Qamar 54:43-45
(43)Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scriptures?
(44)Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"?
(45)[Their] *assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat].*
48:(11)Those who remained behind of the bedouins will say to you, "Our properties and our families occupied us, so ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not within their hearts. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He intended for you harm or intended for you benefit? Rather, ever is Allah, of what you do, Aware.
      Al-Anfal 8:17
And you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them. And you threw not, [O Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allah who threw that He might test the believers with a good test. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

That's true that miracles alone does not make someone a prophet. but a hairy mole will 100%. Ma sha' Allah.
    Hadith no: 22
    Narrated: Abdullah bin Sarjas
"I came to Rasulullah (Peace and Blessings be upon him) while there were people sitting in his company. I went around to the back of Rasulullah (Peace and Blessings be upon him) [The narrator may have done this physically]. Rasulullah (Peace and Blessings be upon him) understood what I was trying to do. He removed the sheet (body wrap) from his back. I saw the place of the Seal of Prophet (SAW)hood between his two shoulders. It was like a cluster surrounded by til (moles) which appeared to be like a wart.

It was not a miracle, it was a sign. It was one of the MANY signs prophesied in Christianity (Remember that Salman was a prominent Christian scholar just life Waraqah ibn Nawfal). They both recognized Muhammad pbuh as a Prophet based on the several signs, not just the one.
Do you understand what I am saying? That a "hairy mole" itself isn't a sign, but there were several signs and this was just one of many. And Muhammad pbuh fulfilled all of the signs.
