    I just got my revlon dryer brush today. Just did some blow out passes on sections of my hair and it came out smooth with curves at the ends. I'm so happy with this product and using it for the first time. Only took me less than an hour. I'm looking forward to getting these curlers and enhanced my look even further. Oh my god, thank you so much for mentioning that this doesn’t work if you don’t have layers. It’s probably something I should’ve known but I’ve tried so many tutorials and haven’t understood what I was doing wrong.

    • @emmsue1053
      @emmsue1053 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It can work but if you have a thick/heavy hair and no layers it will simply "drop out" (the curl, not your hair) LOL.. Tell your hairdresser to cut a few long payers around the front. Use a fixing spray on top of the CW..

  • @annastasiakohen
    @annastasiakohen 2 ปีที่แล้ว +47

    You did wonderfully well! The front bang is the only thing I’d change, curl placement wise. Try rolling your bang ends towards your face instead of away. You’ll get more volume and better placement when you unroll. Can’t wait for your next video

    What do you recommend I use if I want the curls to stay for atleast 12 hours at college? Should I use a curl cream or hair spray? Do you have any idea? 🙈 I want my curls to last longer but usually they become straight after 10 minutes of removing the rollers even if i keep the rollers overnight.
    I have naturally straight hair btw and only a curling iron at home 😭. I can't buy any other equipment atm.

    • @TinaEngeo
      @TinaEngeo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the superthanks! Hm...I don't really have the best answer for that just because my hair hold style pretty well. But have you tried overnight heatless curls? th-cam.com/video/Ie127c0-Sgw/w-d-xo.html
      When your hair is about 90% dry after showering, do this and let me know how it turns out :)

    • @chdiana7707
      @chdiana7707 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TinaEngeo Alright! Are curl creams and hair spray actually a necessity though?

    • @TinaEngeo
      @TinaEngeo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No :) just hairspray AFTER taking the curls out. Curl cream is for people with natural curls I think, and help define their natural curls so if you have straight hair, I don't think that's going to do much.

    Absolutely love your details!! The settings information is so important. I learnt through personal experience. I wish I'd known before. The third setting made my hair really rough and coarse after just two uses. And I honestly stopped using the roller brush so much because I think it also aggravated my premature greying :(
    Coming to you, appreciate your time and effort! Keep it up!!! I'm definitely trying the rollers using your technique! Love from India! ❤

    Thank you for showing / using the Revlon! I’ve seen girls using the $200 one (can’t think of the brand) and I was so bummed bc I def can’t spend that on a hair dryer. But the Revlon I can def get! ❤
    And showing that it took you multiple tries with the rollers to get it right. I tried for the first time last week and it was so messy, I knew that it probably takes practice but hearing you talk about it makes me hopeful

    • @emmsue1053
      @emmsue1053 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      pro hairdresser here, just keep trying, if its a bit messy at first it doesn't matter.... This demo is a good idea because its separating the hair and the rollers are holding hair dried/done out of your way.. Make sure the hair section is no longer than the roller and get your partings straight, Take your time, if your arms get a but tired take a mini break.. You *will get it and it becomes much easier and faster with time.

      Try mousse on wet hair before styling, blowdry on low heat all over the rollers after u are done, leave the rollers in for as long as possible (style hair before makeup for example)

    What should I do if my hair is very soft? Should I apply hairspray before opening the hair or after opening the hair?

      I died my hair black again for not so long ago and planning to keep it that way since my natural hair color is black, so there will be no root touch ups unfortanately :(

      Month late buttttt put two fingers into the roller and complete a rolling motion so that you twist the piece of hair and then go down to untangle the roller

      I am trying to use up my old hairsprays and none of them are worth recommending unfortunately...My hair usually hold curls really well without anything but I just ordered the lanzas finishing spray and hoping that it give me hair the extra hold/shine :)❤
