Mild-mannered gift shop British employee Steven Grant becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of a life somehow separate from his mundane one. That hippo is taweret. She is the god of resurrection, fertility and childbirth. She is also responsible for helping the dead pass safely through the afterlife.most likely gonna help these guys find themselves and learn about themselves and become who they wanna become. Next two episodes is gonna be suchhhhh amazing episodes.

That's how the last few minutes of this episode was trying (successfully) to make many feel watching it, lol.
Marc was shot twice in the chest. Many were likely in shock the moment it happened, and failed to see that it was impossible to descend into a shallow pool of water--there's stone floor behind him. Still, this is the forth episode and the hero was fatally shot, so viewers' minds failing to process what the f' just happened is understandable, but to be honest, I think they were counting on that as it helps set up the next scene, which many of us start to wonder if he imagined the whole thing in his head, which he didn't. Marc's going through the throes of death; his mind is breaking down and his life is flashing before his eyes. Once we get caught up with story events to where we are in the story, Marc and Steven seemingly working together, we see them come across another sarcophagus which they leave alone because they haven't met Jake yet. They are aware of someone else being there, but they aren't connected to Jake as they are to each other now. It made sense to end the story here, at the end of Marc's journey with the gates of heaven/hell opening. And what do we see, a goddess with a pleasant voice greeting Marc and Steven with a "hi."
This episode was a trip, but a welcomed one! I want more of this in the MCU, please!
I cannot wait for next week's episode to come.
Taweret, the hippo-looking Egyptian goddess is the god of fertility and apparently has rebirthing powers. She's hear to help. Marc's mind has been broken since he went through the throes of death the first time, when he nearly died after his partner shot him. There was a time when he had his mind under control, he needs to do that again, but not exactly the way he blocked his DID with mental barriers before. He needs to become with them. Jake needs to be able to communicate with Steven and Marc the way they can with each other. They need to get on the same page and become one.
