I think it's important to understand that all alters are real people that don't fuse to create a whole personality as a child because of repeated trauma. Even if they aren't the core, they are all real people with their own memories, feelings, likes, dislikes, knowledge and roles.
Then why does marc ask dr. Harrow “did you inject me with something?” If it was jake being injected. They share the same body but not the same memories, for example Steven doesn’t remember his mom being dead right? But Marc DOES know about his mom being dead, so how could marc have remembered that if In fact it was jake at the beginning?
@@bonvoyage9605 If I recall correctly, Marc asks about being injected with something after he touched his neck, so he feels that his body has been stung by a needle.
this episode is pure anxiety and tradgety all in one stress ball, but his performance is 200/10. the shifting between emotional moments and different personas is insanity itself.
*EASTER EGG/PARALLEL* The way Steven turned into a statue looks almost identical to the way Crawly sits on the bench near the fountain like a solid statue! Even the hand gesture is similar and both act as a 'stressball' to someone else!
Such a GOOD show! I so can't wait to see what we get going forward. Loving the drama of it all, and it's told so well. Bridget, great call with the phone calls/voice-mails
(yes, I really am watching your reactiong in reverse ).... Hey, some interesting aspects to seeing them like this... Love your show darlings ♥♥ ... oh you 2 are so much fun!
yeah this episode was heavy, Steven brought in and lighter moments but seeing the 2 characters going through their experiences together was just... incredible
Seems like it, but It's just odd that steven wasn't their until Marc opened the sarcophagus but they never opened Jake's. And Jake also wasn't there with them talking to the hippopotamus, so it's odd that Jake would have corrected harrow that is was a hippo and not a rhino.
@@FullMetalB I think that sarcophagus is a metaphor for Jake being unleashed in front of us the viewer....even though he's been shown thruout the show in subtle instances but definitely killed those henchmen in the earlier episodes. I think we will see him in the final episode now that Steven is gone. Keep in mind Steve was the conscience to mark who kept him from goin off the deep end. Jake is the violent side of marcs trauma from getting beat by his mom
@@rashadwalker8218 I do not disagree with you, but I would take it a step further, since the scales balance without resolving Jake's role. Perhaps Jake is just not a creation of Marc's, but rather a result of the malevolent callousness that his mother projected upon him. This might explain why Jake does not weigh on Marc's soul.
I love the little hints theyve been laying out that Jake (or some other personality) is in there. This one all but confirmed it with that broken nose unhinged guy at the open. The accent was a great way of showing he was clearly different without outright announcing it.
Incredible & heartbreaking. I think (and pray) Steven will be back in the last ep - with DID (from what I've researched, I don't have DID so pls take my opinion with a pinch of salt) an alter doesn’t just ‘die’ or ‘disappear’ when they go with integration treatment (good communication between alters, an acceptance of a system, less/no blackouts when switching etc) . If they want to go with final fusion (merging experiences, traits etc), it takes years and years, a lot of work and a readiness to fuse - Steven didn’t look at all ready when he fell off that boat and introducing the third alter and then fusing in the same ep without a chance for the character to breathe would be a weird choice for me. I don't think I'd be mad if they did it as fusing is a valid treatment, I'd just miss Steven and Marc as separate entities, especially with Oscar saying that Steven is autistic so I don't know why they'd do that when the character is so important and unique. Either way I need 3 - 5 business days to recover excuse me while I return to my sobbing fest
Everyone is trying so hard to spot "Jake" as too not feel stupid... Face the facts people... Moon Knight is this year's "Look for Mephisto" sweepstakes...
Jake basically has already been confirmed in ep three. That or some other third personality. You've got to be a bit clueless to say "face the facts" when the opposite is most definitely true.
Taweret has those "cards" is because she likely hasn't done that job for so long and has forgotten some stuffs. Probably because no one (who admitted) really worships the Eqyptian gods anymore.
1.Grace Randolph is hating on this show. 2.The 3rd personality Jake was introduced 5 minutes in with Oscar Isaac's bandaged nose and bruised eyes speaking to Harrow. This Moon Knight series has left me a Broken man.🥺

I'm honestly surprised they didn't pick up on what Marc's mom was doing to him earlier, being parents themselves.
Glad u picked up on Jake at the beginning with arthur

Jeez christ! Oscar Isaac's performance
is such a top tier. I swear if doest win an award for this. Emmy is rigged as a rock

This episode hit me different, I really really related to Marc , I never lost a brother like he did but that abuse yea I’ve dealt with that
I hope your ok if you need someone to talk to I would recommend it❤

That episode was by far the best. So intense and interesting!
You asked all the right questions at the end, mainly “how is there one more episode?”
You are one of the rare reactions that recognized the bandage on the nose was NOT Mark or Steve. KUDOS!

So much pain in this episode but it's my most favorite ep. in the series!
It feels weird that I seriously want them to make a Marvel Legends Taweret action figure.
I'm hoping that there is a season 2, and that's why it feels like there is so much left to resolve.
Because Kevin Bacon shot him 🤣. Needed some jokes before going back through this.

Too be fair there is actually reason and actually proof to Jake's presence unlike Mephisto

She has those cards because it is not her job. Anubis does the judging.
Hoping to see y'alls reaction to Immortal disfigurement 👍
Yeah.. alright. Im replaying AC Origins and its dlc, Curse of the Pharaohs
