The game couldn't have given you a more perfect spawn as an introduction to the true Vintage Story experience. Haha (Btw, the time is by default indeed paused while you are in the handbook.)
Haha that's awesome, thanks for saying that. That little trail I went up in the beginning did turn out to be super smooth, introducing new mechanics every couple of steps.
Might have just made (and deleted after seeing this vid) a comment on your campfire video saying you should try vintage story :) Hope you enjoy all that it can offer. Mods are also very simple to get going so you can tweak things to your liking a lot.
Thank you, I appreciate you. I'm so glad to be hearing that mods are very well supported in VS, because I plan to eventually be a force in the modding community. At least a little bit, if I can gain the time and develop the skill to implement some ideas. But yes, I'm loving vintage story. About to start my 3rd day while I process and upload more videos.
Hi o/ Have some pro tip for a start when you point to anything and shift+H it tells you everything about the item you looking at.. How to be crafted if possible, what can you craft with etc.. The same when you go with cursor over item in inventory and press "H". And one more - you can ( if you want ) turn on the minimap or coordinates in right up corner (interface setting).
Thank you! I will try to keep this in mind. I'm guessing there are no craftable maps in-game since there is a minimap option. I believe I kept minimaps off in the world creation on this..

The ending was a perfect cliff hanger. I am hoping you make it out alive! Keep up the great content!
