I have a 2 year old Bosch 300 series. I do clean the filter regularly, but I don’t pre rinse my dishes. Last night the dishwasher was smelly and had a rhythmic whirring sound, but seemed to work. I took everything apart and cleaned the (dirty) filter and cleaned the impeller. It seems a bit better now after cleaning, but still noticeable louder than it used to be.
Does that sound like a clogged pump? I would appreciate your opinion before going that next step.

Hi there, thank you for your video. I fixed it like u did, the sound is gone and it washes but a new code pops on at the end of the cycle E:61-03 and the tap sign.
The hose drainage is clean and straitened but still does not drain all the water out ?! many thanks

Thank you for the video! I recently replaced my Bosch dishwasher sump due to leaks and E15 error code. Since then my bottom rack has not cleaned properly. I checked today for wash arm movement. It appears my upper rack arm is moving (spinning) but my lower arm is not. With only this information, do you have a suggestion on where to look for issues? Thank you.

Hi thanks for the video. I have a similar problem but my dishwasher is quite new and still under guarantee, yet the Bosch tecnician, whom I got looking at it, maintains the noise is regular and due to the washing fan, although I pointed out that the machine wasn't so noisy before and for quite some time after instalation. So, how do I get Bosch to reconsider and fix it? 😊

It's a difficult one, if they aren't willing to take the pump out and check it's hard to prove, you can always speak to customer support and ask if you can get someone to check the pump

My Bosch dishwasher sounds like that when drying. Constant loud drone. Same sound but less loud is present during warming up the water.

If it doesn't happen during the washing cycle, it isn't usually the pump. Do you have a zeolith dishwasher? It will be stamped on the inside of the door

@@therepairguy4443 yes, it is Zeolith dishwasher, Bosch series 6.

Bosch dishwashers seem to have built in obsolescence...the pumps don't last long. In my case the internal soldering inside the pump dissolved away. I would say it was the flux not salt. Like it is expected to break within a few years.

Yea I've seen a few of these pumps now fail for various reasons, iv not seen the soldering fail before, that's definitely a strange one. Most cases I see are limscale issues or blockages. Although recently seen a few which have burn marks at random points on the heater even though they are clean 🤷‍♂️ nothing beats the old Bosch style if you ask me.
