Love this band. May not be immediate on first hear but there is quite an array of influences in their music, they are Canadian and I think you can hear it they being a wonderful tripartite-mix of US, Canadian and British influences. Her singing is of course totally different but I get massive Clash vibes of the first track, and that period of music that is just after punk. Ohh and on a side note I love her outfit.
