There is a simplicity almost a minimalist approach to the orchestration; each instrument comes and goes adds a little line and then dips out to be replaced by another instrument. This is not like the American serialism where everything clangs and bashes at the same time. Make no mistake though that this music while enjoyable does not attain the heights of mystical confabulation ala Carter.
