Love you guys and thanks for this awesome video / production / music. God bless you all this holiday season. May 2022 bring us all together, and may we heal this world.

There are certain words to describe the emotions I've felt while listening to Olafur, a calm, a peace, a sadness, a stillness, a sorrow, a poem, a love letter, a lost love, lost hope, finding peace, knowing God, understanding, reconciliation to the world! I felt it all I've felt it all! I feel it all!

The first time I saw Olafur live was the day my Nanna passed away. I was in Germany, she was in Australia. Of course, he had to finish the set with "Song for Grandma", didn't he? I bawled my way out of the theatre.

I was fortunate to watch olafurs show at the royal albert hall a couple of years ago to launch Re:member - he had family and friends and record company filling the Audience. Olafur Arnalds is probably one of the main reasons why I've matured as a person. His music helped go through difficult moments and by the emotions he conveyed throughout his compositions, he helped me realize that sadness and loneliness are not the only emotions, but parts that should leave a significant mark in on your life the same way happiness and joy leave a mark.
    Thanks for all the help.

I put on this concert for the first time, thinking i would listen to it while doing things around the house. I sat in my chair spellbound. As the first piano notes were played over the audience’s voices tears rolled down my cheeks (not of sadness or heart break or even joy, just for beauty, and that he enabled everyone there to be part of creating it). What a powerful effect this music has, and what a gift artists such as Olafur give, who choose to direct their talents to such lofti purposes. I hope he enjoyed some well deserved rest after this.

I am so pleased that I saw this beautiful man and listened to his mesmerizing music at a small club in Moscow back in 2012.
We were all sitting on the grass floor, it was so silent during his performances until he starts a small talk in between, and every time he speaks you feel like he's touching your soul pure and gently just like his music. I've had a great and fun time. I asked him if we can hug each other and he did, and I keep this moment deeply in my heart to this day.

Been listening to him for a lil over 10 years... Own all his VSTs he did with Spitfire Audio... And yaaaa he's just a master performer. Definitely go see him if you have a chance!!

This interaction with the audience is just amazing....he just asks for a simple C, making everyone comfortable, building what he needs for what's next, and then, the contrast with how they go into the next tune is just staggering. Everything is under control, there has been so many things that went into consideration to that tune yet that it's just rolling, and you go through a fun audience experiment to a fully mastered musical piece...he's tired and want to go home, but we still enjoy what he has to offer sooo much! Thanks for your work Olafur!

I was going to make a comment about how emotionally immersive and beautiful his music is. And absolutely, some songs can brings me to tears and it's incredibly difficult to put into words why but it's definitely not sadness.
But then Ólafur went and told the bathtub story and now all I want to do is find that TH-cam video and add a comment about a bathtub 😅
I always enjoy when he tells random stories. He's so funny. You can go from laughing at his jokes to on the verge of tears from the beauty of his music in just seconds.

Only the Winds has always been a really impactful piece for me ever since I first heard it on Pandora while on a walk in the woods at sunset (not gonna lie, I broke down crying right there), and there's something about the live version here - and watching the living, breathing orchestra perform it, and Olafur's expressive rapture - that's just breathtaking.
