We went to Metallica years ago and not only was the stage in the center of the Arena, it also rotated very slowly. I think it took the entire show to make one complete revolution. So no matter where you were in the arena you would be able to see all the band members facing you eventually!

Stage at the center is called the Snake Pit. And it's been an arena staple of theirs for decades. They mostly use the big stage for outdoor venues.
