Exactly! Metallica is amazing with the crowd and they know how to connect and interact and just draw everyone in. Easily one of my top two bands I've seen live.
One of my favourite things on TH-cam these days is watching reaction videos to this band I have loved for so many years. I just wanted to tell you that you are officially my favourite reactor ever.... You're genuine excitement and giddiness over a bunch of 60 year old metal heads is infectious, your comments are quite eloquent and insightful, and you are absolutely freaking adorable. I love your videos so much. I'm sold. Subscribed. I hope I get to see you hear another Metallica song someday. Stay awesome friend! ❤
These reaction videos are awesome. I graduated in 1984, so it warms my old heart to see young people reacting with so much joy to the music I grew up with.
I say this from experience. When you are young, you want to jump, go crazy, pogo, mosh and slam.... but when you get old, you enjoy a concert sitting down without needing to go crazy, but just appreciate the music.
Great Reaction @Bisscute. For Your next Metallica reaction you need to check out "Harvester of Sorrow" Live Seattle 89 HD. Seattle 89 is one of their top concerts ever🗣️🎙️. Hope to see it soon. Much Love fr Texas
I went to a concert just like this. Can't believe it was 14 yrs ago already. Saw a few people fight over those balloons that dropped from above. I got a guitar pick from Kirk. One of the best concerts ever. Absolutely loved this reaction. Thanks and can't wait for more ❤️🤘
I've seen them 13 times in concert.... All the way from The Whiskey in L.A. on Kill Em' All to Ft. Waste on Load (UGH!!!) And ol' boy is right, to see them properly is to see them early, live!! The festival in Russia where they play in front of 1.3 million people at an airbase if I'm not mistaken.... And it's For Whom The Bell Tolls.... NOW that's a PERFORMANCE!! Check it out, especially if you have a lot of.... Energy, as you say!!!
The Colisée Pepsi had 15 000 places approximately! 7 years latter, Metallica came back to perform the very last show of the arena! There is a real love story between Metallica and the city of quebec!
My first concert was in this arena and it was Metallica back in 1989, i was 14. Saw them 5 times in Québec City and yes, there is a stong bond between the band and my city. Last time i saw them was in 2017 i think and we were around ninety thousand shouting Seek and Destroy. What a night!
I'm with ya, I couldn't go to a concert just to sit there and listen to the music. Going into GA (General Admission / Standing Room) and just rocking out with other metalheads is way better in my opinion. But too each their own
Great reaction. Great song. But I think nothing will beat when Jason was the backup singer shouting the lyrics out. The version on the Live Sh*t: Binge and Purge album is amazing, but it's also like 18 minutes long. Anyway, yes, Metallica is amazing live. You need to see them if you get a chance!
I've seen Metallica a few times and this song is by far one of the most fun and interactive songs they do live! This was also one of the songs back in the 80s that really sold me on Metallica in the first place! OMG you are too funny! This was most enjoyable to watch as usual you are so animated in your reactions which is why I've been watching for some time now! I love how you get into the tunes, that's what great music is all about! Keep on rockin! Devil horns in the air!
That little riff they played at the end of the song was from their song Wasting My Hate. They like to add a riff from some of their less popular albums on to the end of songs once in awhile because while the albums and many of the songs aren’t typically fan favorites, they know they have some kickass riffs in there that they wanna play now and then so they like to add them on to the end of a big band ending like that every now and then. Always cool to see
@@BisscuteReacts hello, some bad people are using your account to offer gifts in exchange for money, be careful with that. thank you for your content is excellent 🤗❤️
I believe that this was the tour in '09 with Lamb Of God and Volbeat as opening acts. If that's the case, I saw them a little over a week later in Buffalo, maybe my favorite concert ever.
Thanks a lot--great reaction. And you seemed to enjoy it much. I like this choice, because I was there for the Québec Magnetic show. Seek & destroy is always chaos at their shows--I saw them a few times (1985-with Cliff Burton, 1993 with Jason Newsted & a few other times in recent years). And you're right--impossible to stay sit in your chair in a Metallica show--too much energy flowing around. I'll be watching more, you're very entertaining.
I usually have the same thoughts about going to see bands I always want to be on the floor in standing areas, but I was seated for Iron Maiden a few years ago (only tickets that were still available) and was surprised by how enjoyable it still was! Can see the whole stage show happening and everyone was still having a blast on the balconies!
I was going to say I love your reactions to the video, but this is a reaction video, duh. What I really love is when you "interact" with the videos you're reacting to. It's so cute and funny.. it always cracks me up.
This song was our breakaway song. USN snips do a thing called underway replenishment. Bombs bullets Food and Fuel. Ships pull along side the replenishment ship and after things are transferred the receiving ship pulls away and makes room for the next ship waiting. A warship is generally more dramatic than the other styles of ship. A carrier for example used Ride of the Valkryies by Wagner
As a guy who saw his first concert in 1980 at the mature age of 12, I can tell you, Bisscute, at some point in life everyone will have to sit down during a rock concert and maybe stand for ovations or if you cant see. Something like that. I wish I could stand for the entire show nowadays but 40 years working construction has left my knees and hips feeling older than they are. You'll be here someday too. Your comments do not offend me. Please dont misunderstand. Just trying to explain why you see people sitting sometimes. Especially considering how long Metallica has been around. Most fans are older people. We should celebrate that we still rock at our age. I know my parents were total squares by the time they were in their 30s. Love your channel, energy and curiosity, Bisscute! Peace sister ✌🏼 and long live rock n roll 🤘🏻(RIP Ronnie James Dio)🤘🏻
This venue was 15K capacity (likely 12 - 14K at this show) in Quebec called Colisee de Qubec... Metallica played there in 2009 and was filmed for the concert DVD 'Quebec Magnetic'... However, the venue was apparently closed in 2015.
Most stadium rock concerts like this one you have assigned seats in the stands but on the stadium floor in front of the stage is usually "general admission", no seats just open floor with a standing room capacity where you can dance, mosh pit and jump around.
1:55 "I want to go to a concert." Bullet for my Valentine is gonna be in Berlin with Jinjer and Atreyu on February 5th. That'd be a pretty sweet lineup. Atreyu and BFMV are great live, and I would to some shady shit to see Jinjer. I was supposed to see them with Slipknot and In This Moment back in March, but SOMEONE decided to have a "hold my beer" moment, and Jinjer understandably couldn't make it. My favorite thing about this particular performance is that they throw in so many fills and licks that aren't on the album version. Last song of the night, so they were just having fun and jamming that one out loosely, which is really smart so they don't get bored playing a song that they released almost 40 years ago.
FYI, except for perhaps older people that just can't anymore, even in the seated areas, people are still headbanging and rocking out. There's no room to mosh, but you definitely aren't just sitting there. And I say that as someone who did exactly that the last time Metallica came through and will do exactly that when they come through this time. I was/will be on my feet headbanging and air guitaring for the entire concert.
