Despite the poor utilization of him during the fight, Void Ghidorah has still proven to be a most invigorating concept brought to film. He's a force of nature even more terrifying than Godzilla, and this theme gives him the feeling of being an eldritch god of destruction. I enjoy the fact he is the orchestrator of the events that play out in the films (for the most part), and uses others to fulfill his own ends. He is as manipulative as he is an omnipotent monster. And the fact you can't simply or easily kill him due to his interdimensional nature only adds to his character. I can only imagine what it would have been like to face his true form: odds are, everyone including Godzilla, would be dead, and the universe would have followed them. A shame Void Ghidorah wasn't utilized to his fullest potential.
There was an MMD animation that shows what void ghidorah could have been. It’s called “Godzilla: Star Eating Wings”. It’s amazing, you should check it out if you haven’t.
I doubt the universe would've been destroyed since its implied that ghidorah is what destroyed the exif home planet which means he regularly destroys planets ans its implied the exif have lead him to planes before earth for him to destroy which means either A. He's like galactus in the sense that even though he's a god he still needs sustenance and planets are that sustenance. Or B and much more interestingly, Ghidorah does it for fun, he enjoys manipulating entire species into doing his bidding and bringing him ehnabated planets for him to torment and destroy, for all we know the exif weren't even the first and probably won't be the last species he does this with who knows how long ghidorah has been on this sadistic spree, and nothing is ever gonna stop him
